It isn't as lopsided as some here will tell you. Even possession stats show 43% vs 57%, despite United playing with 10 men in the last 20 mins.
The game was rather even and I thought either side could have won it. Added on January 17, 2011, 2:18 pm QUOTE(boxsystem @ Jan 17 2011, 02:13 PM) In Doha? fuyoh ... earning USD wei ... and maybe even in the 5 figure range ... This post has been edited by +Newbie+: Jan 17 2011, 02:18 PM |

QUOTE(OhIsU @ Jan 17 2011, 11:34 AM) rioferdy5 Rio Ferdinand this must be something in more recent times i'd doubt he would dare to kick keane to check for injury If a team mate goes down I normally kick them+if they react I know it can't be that serious, just my way of knowing if we need a sub or not! |

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Jan 17 2011, 02:23 PM) He kicked Vida last night. Luckily for Rio, Vida is already stuffed eating all challenges came from Spurs. Otherwise, maybe different as vida and rio are partners.rio was already a senior when vida joined. while keane was notorious and a senior when rio joined.....i think much more evil than vida |

On a very off topic matters, England and Bolton legend Nat Lofthouse passed away yesterday, RIP to him. He is a one club man, playing more than 450 games for bolton as a striker, scoring 250+ goals. For England, he scored 30 in 33 appearances, an international goal/game ratio that is far and high above any of the current great strikers.
Since there is no dedicated Bolton thread here (is there?) so i post it here as a close neighbour. |

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Jan 17 2011, 02:20 PM) We had better chances, IMO. The game was quite balance last night. In the 1st half we clearly saw Spurs intent to utilized their pacy wingers to provide crosses for Crouch which gave our full backs a headache. Their full backs and wingers combined well to provide crosses into our box especially Hutton and Lennon. VDV and Crouch was dangerous at times and come very close with both of them love to sneak behind defenders to take a shot. On our side, Berbatov was a bit isolated, Rooney look a bit rusty given that he just return from injury although i was quite satisfied with his performance. Nani was in nowhere land too with both Bale and Assou-ekotto combine to stop him. We was more effective on the left. Unfortunately, all four attacking players weren't playing well. Apart of VDV's header and Crouch's shot, they weren't really threatening. Vidic had it all covered. I just hope when we go to Blackpool next week, we will be able to pull a win. Added on January 17, 2011, 2:21 pm Again, he is a student in Australia. His family is there? Hell, why do I know all these things? Pyro, you should answer all of these questions. In the 2nd half, the game started to swing Spurs way when we lost Rafael due to the red card which i don't know whether it was harsh or not. probably harsh and a warning would suffice. Luckily Defoe aren't dangerous as he seems to be all the time thanks to the good defensive work by our defenders. Ferdinand limping towards the end worries me since we already at the crucial stage of the season. The introduction of Chicarito did give us an attacking boost with his pace. but with 10 men we hardly able to break them although towards the end we almost caught them with a counter attack which we wasted the opportunity to have a go at Gomes. |

Our ability to hold the ball was horrible last game, our fast paced counter attacking always gifts the ball to the opponent and our normal passing game tends to get snuffed out by enthusiastic opponents. It's similar to the liverpool game except tottenham are much better and we didn't have a penalty.
Well not only last game i get a feeling the team hasn't gelled well at all this season like they can't read each other's movements and tempos. We depended alot on valencia for his accurate crossing but now that element is missing, hope they click real soon. This post has been edited by Tak3shi: Jan 17 2011, 04:15 PM |
