I using 4 bag now:

1. Hedgren - the most reliable brand ever but not cheap, being using for more than 8 years - still good until today
2. Dicota - lifetime warranty but not so reliable, inside already koyak near to the padding.
3. Targus - quite good, but outside koyak a bit.
4. HP original (not some imitation with HP logo) - going to test how long this one will last, still new.

Hedgren only give 2 years warranty but less warranty doesn't mean the quality is not good. For me lifetime warranty is more just a business gimmick to attract people to buy the products.

Hedgren even have own unique ID (serial number).

Thanks nordingh, that was informative. I guess it makes sense to get a larger bag so can stuff more things inside besides the laptop. Where did you get your Hedgren? Any place in PJ or Kl that carries it?

wong, hedgren check at bag boutique,

At Mid valley, KLCC, Kl sentral so far I know got selling that...

There is one model that can extend, so you can also put clothes inside, good if you going outstation for 1 - 2 days. Mine is not expendable.

I have both however the model or series is diff,

The Boblbee bag which i own is a rebranded one coming under the brand iDragon. Lasting till now (7 years) , i got it for around RM300+. overall design is the same as yours but the one in your pic is way cooler with the black carbon fibre hints and slightly different laces and buckles. However the top view exposes the inside which is the same. one thing i didnt like was the laptop compartment which narrows as it goes downwards. My lappy would get stuck in between the hip rest and stuff i keep inside ..... has caused some scratches especially the edges of my lappy. Check the skater shops at bukit bintang...sg wang plaza or berjaya times square.

nike epic. was looking for this version as well but they only have the nike epic 1 here. came out 4-5 years back and only in limited numbers. there are 2 versions. nike epic with adjustable back lumber curve like the one in your pic was RM699 and limited to 10 units in whole Malaysia according to NIKE SHOP Employee. The one i got was the non adjustable lumber curve version which came in a slightly bigger bulk but still limited. cost about RM599 :

same design and same buckles and net and laces but imagine us desert storm army print.

ok found my own pic online so i must have posted it somewhere before:

The other more limited one was more unique as it had laser etchings on the surface. that one had nice funky tatooed designs but was going for rm729. didnt see more than 3 units around kl.... might have missed a few but doubt there were many. i got my EPIC at AL-Ikhsan..

Check this old thread. have both pics there,,,,, http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/347390

I miss Epic sale at Dubai airport last time. Was selling around RM400 that time. I didn't buy when I arrive because planning to grab it on the way back to KL. But to bad, stock out already. That time I already carry to many bag, not going to add 1 more load.

Man. The one in Dubai is the NIKE EPIC with the adjustable back support? I can't find that here anymore since it came to our shores in limited units many mnay years ago. At that price if you got it, it would have been a steal. What colour was it? drool.gif
