Can ask you sifus something? Do most ppl buy 15" laptop bags even if they own a 14" laptop cos I see very few bags cater for 14" laptops? Will a 14" laptop jiggle around loosely in a 15" bag?
Any specific recommendations for 14" bags/backpacks?
Thanks.

Thanks nordingh, that was informative. I guess it makes sense to get a larger bag so can stuff more things inside besides the laptop. Where did you get your Hedgren? Any place in PJ or Kl that carries it?

I'm planning to get Belkin laptop bag to replace my old Dicota. Does the Belkin recommended?

I think Dicota is better than Belkin, but please get the opinion of the real sifus in here. tongue.gif

Not exactly a backpack or a slingbag but I'll risk it cos the info may be useful to other users.

Just bought this Pandora's Box 9-10" Neoprene Laptop Sleeve from alicewonders.com

It fits my 10" MSI netbook to a T. For RM20 I feel it is really good value and their service was also pretty fast. Recommended. thumbup.gif

Another user Nordingh has some very good advice which I am quoting here. You should also look into Hedgren. I was also thinking of buying that brand but the price was a little out of reach for me.

QUOTE
I using 4 bag now:

1. Hedgren - the most reliable brand ever but not cheap, being using for more than 8 years - still good until today
2. Dicota - lifetime warranty but not so reliable, inside already koyak near to the padding.
3. Targus - quite good, but outside koyak a bit.
4. HP original (not some imitation with HP logo) - going to test how long this one will last, still new.

Hedgren only give 2 years warranty but less warranty doesn't mean the quality is not good. For me lifetime warranty is more just a business gimmick to attract people to buy the products.

Hedgren even have own unique ID (serial number).

yea heard of it. Reputable brand. This looks nice but unfortunately it only fits up to 13" laptops and mine is a 14". Someone selling in garage sales for around RM95.

no need modify. just buy a roll of black electrical tape (RM1.20) and stick it over the words. if your boss see you laptop bag he maybe think you are so broke to patch your broken bag with electrical tape maybe he will give you a salary raise!

Targus Malaysia lists All IT Hypermarket Sdn Bhd as one of their retailers. Call as to availability of stocks before paying them a visit.
