PUSH better, since it's fully customized rebuild. They take into considerations your weight, riding stylo and etc to tune your shocks.

In a year, the savings on brake pads alone is worth it liow. Less gear, less wear and tear on drivetrains. Wear tight jeans instead of gaypants. Trade your riding shoe with Pallas Jazz. Sell your helmet and get a neon caps. Wow... Easily save enough money to get more bikes! Kekekeke |

QUOTE(Newgen @ Feb 18 2011, 11:16 AM) Sifus! Newgen, I'm a newbie, so do take this with a grain of salt. But from what I learn from the sifu here... It's all about ball size that matter. Afterall, it's Mountain Biking. So when you go up a 'mountain', you'll get down from the mountain. Can I know what are the difference with DH, XC, and other terms? I know DH is Down Hill, means like you ride from high to low right? How about XC? is it Cross Country? how does it work? Paiseh! XC hardtail ridden like a FR/DH bike. Added on February 18, 2011, 11:25 am QUOTE(maxguy @ Feb 18 2011, 11:18 AM) I'm going back to FRIM this weekend too. Can't have enough of the trails you guys brought me last week. Are you guys riding FRIM this weekend too? This post has been edited by kaizer: Feb 18 2011, 11:25 AM |

IMHO, the defination of XC,AM,FR,DH are more for the type of bikes they're capable of, not so much a term for the type of riding a weekend rider do.
For example, how does one explains the category of riding in: FRIM / RRI / Kemensah / Kiara? |

QUOTE(RayKazansky @ Feb 18 2011, 11:56 AM) IMO:- IMHO every trail has got abit of everything lor... RRI got some technical desents as well from the last hash. My 1st ever ride was in RRI, I remember clearly I ask my friend to check his sanity when he ride down the platform desents. RRI - more towards XC FRIM - more towards XC Kiara - All rounder playground Kemensah - havent tried yet, maybe LYN group can go together-gether FRIM's dream trail is tough as nails for me and I hear Pacat trail is DH? Not sure, hope to find out this weekend. Aroma trail feels like mini Kiara with the roots infested trail. Kiara is AM/FR/DH all rolled into one hardcore ride. Kemensah if go on dry days, it's pretty fun. I did once the short trail to Sofea Jane waterfall. Technical uphill due to ruts from ATV and all the way climb climb climb. Going back the same way... it's quite flowy, again technical due to the ruts and stuffs. I heard Kemensah is huge with alot of trails, from short rides to epic rides depending on the route one took. PCP is fun for all ages! From kids to out of puff riders like me. |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Feb 18 2011, 02:25 PM) I think... Cyphereza, so this means that on some of the cycling area it's a mixture here and there rite?FRIM - Dream Trail (Beginner Technical XC), Pacat Trail (Intermediate technical XC), Aroma Trail (Beginner Technical XC) RRI - Haven't been there yet Kemensah - Some technical XC, mostly wide trail XC Kiara - All-mountain, DH PCP - Racing XC, DH Bukit Dinding - XC, DH I'm surprised at your categorization of FRIM though. This also shows different things to different people. My Everest is you PLUS highway. In this case don't think you'll enjoy RRI. |

Yeah... Heard of the saying too "If you can ride KIARA,you can ride anywhere"
Since we're on the topic of trails, wondering what's you all's take on upping one's riding difficulty level? Do you keep looking for greater challenges? Do you keep riding faster and faster on the same trail? |

Well, what I meant was, I was assuming that on every trails when one increases the speed of riding, it will inevitably increases the difficulty level.
So in the sense that, do you guys keep looking for new trails to feed the adrenalin hunger or riding faster and faster on the same trail? |

Different type of excitement for me. Riding new trails is the thrill of the unknown while riding faster on the same trail is the satisfaction I get when it's achieved without any mishap. Ya know... Like finding the most efficient lines and etc.
