There are all sorts of clubs in UniMAP. Personally I would not call them "clubs"; "activities" would be a better word.

Buy the router (and everything that will be shared among housemates) when you have settled down in your hostel. This will minimise arguments involving sharing of the equipment and money.

Final examinations usually last at least three weeks in UniMAP.

That is only an initial academic schedule. If there are complains from students, the management will consider revising the timetable.

erm.. EAC ah... our course need their accreditation mah.. so we did what they want lor.... rearranging all the subjects.. add some subjects... move the intern period all that lor.. confusing for us that halfway through, but for u all, no problem...

Microelectronic is given a lot of attention in UniMAP. It even has its own research centre, called the Institute of Nanoelectronics Engineering (INEE). Major researches are done in this centre.

You will find yourself highly-sought after in factories such as Intel, Western Digital, and Motorola. These companies deal with semiconductor and wafer fabrication.

They provide everything. You only have to bring your own bedsheet and pillow cover.

if u r looking for a warm and friendly environment during ur tertiary education.. look no more.. unimap is d place dat radiates all dat..

since unimap is quite new, everyone is trying their vy best to assist each other.. especially to new students.. even new lecturers who report in to unimap were amazed by d helpful hands given by d students, and staffs..

believe me.. new students.. u wil realy enjoy ur 4-year stay at unimap..!

based on what i heard from my friends, different unis have different core studies no matter what course are u taking.
therefore, does UniMAP follow the degree acedemic as other unis such as UKM for microelectronic?

There's only 2 unis having microelectronic eng course which is unimap and UKM. do we will be studying same as in UKM?

u can count urself vy lucky.. microelectronic engg is one of d most active degree programme in unimap.. and d school of microelectronic engg is always up and happening wif activities..

and talking about job prospect.. u can consider urself home-safe.. every year, MNC like intel, sony, motorola and amd are always on d prowl for microelectronic students in unimap.. i m nt bragging, thr are a lot of statistics which can prove my claim..
