yea no nid buy baju kurung, they will provide one set, blue color one

oh ya forgot to mention, to new comer, prepare to taste perlis hard water, dun drink the tap water!! there is no water filter inside hostel room but provided is a vending machine for drinking water in your hostel area, mostly RO water, for your own health purpose, dun drink the bottom part of the water inside your water heater, if you notice properly, the heating coil inside the heater will have white residue on it due to chemical reaction with water

bus ticket need to buy in town, UniMAP got provide shuttle bus service to town every 2 hour, bus schedule can see from bus station infront of hostel

dis post is dedicated especially to d new students of unimap.. below is a timetable of ur coming new semester.. dis timetable, we called it d academic calender for session 2011/2012, indicates d exact date and duration of ur all d lectures, final examination, holiday periods and semester break..

u can use it to plan for ur travel back to ur respective hometowns.. a general advice though, in case u guys r planning to go home during d mid-sem break (5-13 nov), plz get ur tix early.. coz i believe many wil b going back too, n d tix wil sell like hot cakes..

Final examinations usually last at least three weeks in UniMAP.

That is only an initial academic schedule. If there are complains from students, the management will consider revising the timetable.

regarding ur enquiry abt pillow..    i guess its better if u can bring ur own pillow.. u wil haf a more "cosy" feeling sleeping wif ur own belongings.. and secondly, some pillows do stink..
