We had Statics, C.Programming, Materials eng, CAD, Maths 1, Skills in Comm with a combined of 17 units. Also 1 unit of koko, 18 units in total.

Oh my sweet Lord! Rakhmad taught you guys Statics??? I am sure you all had a very "enjoyable" time with him...

Paulraj is good. Ask IvanWong1989 and he will tell you how good he is.

Yes, Rakhmad been teaching statics for 2-3 years now. Enjoyable? He basically reads the slide(and expects us to understand) and immediate ask us to do a question(which if we don't know, he will get furious ). We got used to him after a while.

I have to say Paulraj is one of the best lecturers around to teach CP. I really did enjoyed attending his lectures.

Dr.Paulraj is good. Responsible lecturer. Bt i did nt well in his exam ><

That's why there are two quotation marks around the word enjoyable in my previous post followed by a crying smiley. He is good in his field; in fact, he is one of the top men in Finite Element Analysis. But his attitude towards students is just + . He expects his students to be as smart as he is. I remember some of my coursemates were rather weak, and you know what he did? He laughed at them for being unable to follow his lessons!

We get all kinds of people lahh, for short. Do you still have Fluid Mechanics in your course syllabus? Wait till you meet Dr Ghulam. For me, he is one of the most caring Professors around, at least for PPK Mekatronik.

We all know Rakhmad is a good lecturer but the way he approaches students is kinda unprofessional. Different people different way of teaching I guess,have to accept that tough. Yes, I have fluid mechanics I & II for sem 3 and 4 respectively.

He always picked on students sitting in the front and back row. Those in between got lucky.

Actually a few years ago, he left the University to care for his sick daughter (or something like that, can't remember very well) back in Indonesia. That time I was in my 7th semester. We thought that was the last time we see Rakhmad. But no! He came back after half a year. I really pity my coursemates who had their FYP final viva with him...

so, they got 9&10th sem?

No pal. They passed the viva but emerged with cuts and bruises all around their bodies. Some even got laughed at by that guy...

Hopefully i wont meet him in coming sem
