Same reason I went from the S90 to XZ-1... the lens is beautiful on the XZ-1, sensor and video sucks but that still means in the right condition it's lovely.

Didn't add any sharpening on this one... shot between the airplane seats with light coming into the cabin via the window

Looks like a fun photo walk there.

There's room to improve on the composition though. smile.gif

The food pics are shot raw but didn't tweak anything... just convert and resize in lightroom.

Just came back from my first dslr-less trip for quite some time.. brought the XZ-1 only and I find that it does travel pics quite decently.

Came back from China. I'm quite impress with the photos. Easy to use yet produce nice result. Almost like my iphone4 point and shoot haha, but under sunlight the oled really unusable. Can't see the colors, anyone get evf?

Mind it's more like business trip. So most of the photos are for business's purpose with some scenery. Now at Bali also business, 4th time to Bali and yet haven't seen the beach haha. upload when back Jakarta.

Yup... the major selling point for XZ-1 though not many people understand that.

Well, I own s canon S90, and have recommended to a lot of friends to get S95 (at least 5), thus most of my friend are having S95, but with the XZ1 in the scene, i now move on to get all my friend to buy XZ1.

I am very sure my next upgrade point n shoot will be the XZ2. Unless any others can come up with something to beat the image quality it produce with the F1.8 lens.

I am really amaze with the photos taken with this olympus, honest, it's never in my shopping list for olympus P&S until the XZ1.

Hope to join u guys in future.

can anyone please take a picture of a jeans in your room without tweaking or editing.
I want to see how olympus react to low light condition?
i heard is good but can't be sure until I see it.

now in a damn harsh confusion between XZ-1,S95, LX5 and G12.
Can someone please help me decide with their pictures?
