- It's using LX5's sensor
- Looks smaller than the LX5
- Looks like there's dual control ring like the S95
- Hot shoe = potential viewfinder??
- Can assume it'll have Oly's nice nice jpegs
Bestest of all... fast fast lens of them all.
The Olympus XZ1 has a 28-112mm f/1.8-2.5 Lens
The Panasonic LX5 has 24-90mm f/2.0-3.3 lens
The Canon S95 has a 28-105mm f/2.0-4.9 lens
The Samsung EX-1 has a 24-72mm f/1.8-2.4 lens
Potential cons:
- Hope it's not slowass like Oly's M43's.

Tips
Share some tips and tricks that works for me la... do share if you find otherwise.
1) Shoot RAW to avoid jpeg smear
2) P mode works best imo cos can use the front ring for ISO and adjust with rear ring for exposure compensation.
3) In P mode, it will almost always keep aperture wide open but its sharp fully opened up so no problems there
4) ISO400 is like a little over ISO1600 in Canon APS-C. So go over that in worst case scenarios only
5) The IS is very kungfu so don't worry about SS too much
6) XZ1 tend to underexpose so bump that ~+1/3EV.
7) Always meter correctly base on histogram cos small sensor not as much RAW headroom as dslr.
8) Keep it in Macro mode so no need to mar fan change at different focus distance. Didn't find any adverse effect in doing so.
9) On mix lighting, it tend to go towards green so use the custom white balance which is very user friendly.
10) For low contrast landscapes, small sensor have small dynamic range... so bracket it. Get yourself a shutter release cable also cos it doesn't do 2sec timer bracket like canon dslr.
edit: Changed the title. Can't resist
