Yes n no.. Compacts are convenient cos can just rest it on railings and such. Or just use a small gorillapod.

I saw RM1370+ on ebay with extra battery. But the camera is from HK's shop. They claims to be original. I wonder about the reliability.

something to share with u guys,i notice with my unit was that the aperture shape was not completely even(when stop down),but my canon 50mm f1.4 lens aperture was not even as well, and they doesn't seems to have any effect on the image, stopping down with compact will hardly notice any bokeh anyway

another thing i notice was the sometime temperamental shutter button, would straight refocus the nex shoot(like over sensitive button)after u press the shutter button, but i did solve mostly this problem by applying some amount of pressure to the shutter button for a while(when the camera off)

What do you mean? unsure.gif

You can add to that list.... 1) lens ring could be a bit tighter.... 2)the mode dial needs to be tighter or a lock... 3) ND filter ON icon on the screen needs to be in RED

Got a few missed shots b'cos of the above.

This one didn't miss...

go to iauto mode, press ok and go to blur background option, play with your back dial to alter the background blur(this will directly change the aperture size on the spot),and look at the aperture under bright light

Not the best deal that I found though. RM1450 for camera and RM150 for extra battery.

Tried di... mine's the same... the aperture blades are not rounded and when closed, also closes to a "not very even" looking hexagon doh.gif

i think its ok although tats not excuse for manufacturer not to improve on this matter
i have 4 canon lens and mostly is not completely even as well(surprisingly my old cheapo 50mm f1.8 was perfect though)

It's ok la... I'm more concerned about the lens flare then bokeh quality tongue.gif

Need to find a practical lens "hood" solution di... had a few shots absolutely ruined by flare
