Taken using a Nikon D7000 + Sigma 50mm f1.5 
As a former D3000 user, I'm so happy to be able to upgrade to D7000. Definite must buy! 

Seems like focused on the hand instead of eyes, btw the D7000 in low light no match for D700/D3/D3s, so it's not a monster, only a puppy 

This is because you have no idea how to make wonders out from your kitty lens. Of course I understand f/2.8 lens or bigger aperture lens can have greater bokeh but bokeh is not everything

And creativity doesn't rely on lens. It's in the person behind the camera.

It doesnt jerk as the D lens as well, HSM noiseless and smooth... I saw the pic of yours as well using 14-24, so freaking sharp 

Just wondering if anyone is using D3100 here? I've just bought it as my first DSLR and I was very happy with it until the 2nd day of usage. I realize the top left corner of the LCD screen has a yellowish tint (like when you apply pressure on an LCD screen). I went back to the shop to complain about it so the boss took the display unit to check and also have similar problem.

So was wondering is this a manufacturer defect or anyone has any clue on this? I hope I'm not in the wrong threat. Sorry still noob to the photo threats... If I'm in wrong section, please tell me where to refer ya. Thanks.

Thanks... Will wait for your replies. If all ok maybe I'll have to check with the shop again. Anyone tried claiming warranty direct from Nikon? I have a feeling the boss would argue saying all his units are the same...

Well mine is a lil obvious and though it doesn't affect the picture, I feel that if there are good units available, I would prefer to have a good unit too. I may be petty and I know I'm demanding too much for a lower end model.  Truthfully I don't mind if all units comes with this defect. But if only a selected few has defects and mine is 1 of them, then maybe I'd request for warranty ler...

In case there are still those that don't know what I am trying to explain about technical perfection and a window into the imperfect soul.

I will draw a parallel.

One is an engineering drawing. Perfect, flawless, to the point.

The other is Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso. Utter Madness
To give technical perfection emotion is like giving the Tinman a much needed heart.
...and on the flipside, I doubt giving Dali and Picasso a better brush and canvas will change anything........
