Just called Samsung Mobile Malaysia and asked when we will get Froyo for our Galaxy 5.
The customer service (guy) said there isn't any fixed time for the update but he confirmed there will be Froyo.

it doesn't have flash.
to get a clear pic? get urself a digicam.. lol

still waiting.. and waiting...

Stock camera apps is not good enough.

Try download camera360 or FXCamera.

how do i get free apps beside using preinstall market?? is there any link??

u can find apps name marketAccess in dropbox. change ur sim card to US code. and u can have the zeam launcher and another apps that not available here also.
applanet is another market u can download paid apps for free

Is anyone here use Rom Manager? if i want to flash ClockworkMod Recovery, what is the model should i choose? thanks.

i think camera will be 5MP or better, mayb screen is HVGA, no flash at camera too.....

Inside AVG antivirus there got a function called synchronize applications can use to uninstall default apps in SG5. Can i use it to uninstall layar? Anyone try it before? Thx..

just try uninstall. in case you want to backup use this System app backupper
if still not remove then remove it using root explorer (system/app/layarxxx)
