i had the same problem .. specially when my phone reboots by itself...
but i do believe that it was due to my MOBO issues...
nonetheless, my wife's X10 never had this problem .. she's running official 2.1 rom...

bro, sadly, this is what u get in an Android thread... certain people always like to compare about which hardware is the best...
some would think its good to have this type of competition, but IMHO, its crap.....

from how i see it, there's only 3 type of categories in Android to compare with.. the low, mid and high end hware spec...
those within the same range, i doubt there's any significant differences... like u said, no doubt a few hundreds point in quadrant score "overall" does mean something, but can we actually feel the differences in daily usage?? X10 really is an under rated phone.. i always wonder, why so many people condemn this phone?


i understand your concern on the 3d capabilities. i bet u do a lot of 3d gaming on ur phone..
maybe x10 doesnt hav the best display to handle 3d games, but im doin just fine playing NFS Shift on my X10.. quite smooth.. kira boleh la..
didnt bother me too much cos i bought the phone not for gaming purposes... maybe cos i already hav an xbox to cater that needs...

last i check those mkv player (forgot which one) using 2.1 official rom, it was not smooth...
not sure if it was due to rom, hardware or the player itself.. cos i dont hav much mkv movies, so i didnt bother much...
but for mp4, smooth as silk...

havent tried on 2.2 yet....

when u say fast, how fast? what it ur expectation?
using 2G instead of 3G can help a bit....
and there's more, i suggest u google "x10 battery life".... hundreds of guide out there...

it has evrything dat a same class fon such as htc desire.. dont listen to rumors from people who dont own them.. most people dont like this phone maybe becos SE dont provide froyo support.. but u can always install froyo urself, no need official from SE

u can try add free application for android...u need to root ur phone first..this will remove those annoying apps inside apps n games

yup... if ur already on 435 (BB54), then just flash with that BB58...
dia tak delete ko nyer current setting, cuma update BB jer...

but kalau ko on BB lama (before 54), not recomended... sbb BB58 requires minimum kernel dr firmware 435 (which comes with BB54)...
if not, phone ko akan ada problem pelik2 (loop reboot, panas, wifi , dataconnection etc)
it happend to me b4... phone cepat panas and battery cepat habis
from first version of 2.1 (very old BB), trus jump pegi BB58-nak shortcut konon.. last last huru hara... heheh

anyone knows if we use plain beta4 by zdizhu then apply the fix for camera from wolfbreak.. would that solve the videocam issue? cos beta4 BT takde problem like those yg dah come preisntalled with Cynogen

Ya.. I just figured how to customise those icon using the provided png's..

If so, maybe i'll just use vanilla beta4 jer instead of cynogen mod

Cm 613 is based on freex10.. Cm stands for cynogen mod and the bt issue is caused by cm.. Later aku nak test freex10 to konfem on bt issue..last aku ingat, freex10 semua ok except videocam la.. And with the latest camera fix, freex10 can be considered a complete 2.2 rasanya

ya.. last time i also thought that black circle next to the earspeaker is front camera, but actually its a proximity sensor...
anyway, same goes to all the other androind phone like nexus1, Desire etc.. no video call cos when these hardwares was first sold, Android was not capable of video call... thus hardware doesnt come wit front camera...

Anyway, rasanya dulu aku try rendeiros nyer version gak... BT mcm working jer... but now on already on wolfbreak...
can any1 running rendeiros confirm that BT has no issue?

tested send and receive file... so i guess BT headphones should be fine too...
