hi villa07,
what u expect to happen after you install xRecovery ? You get those green marks means everything should be installed properly. to go into xRecovery, reboot your phone and when u see the "Sony Ericsson wording" press back(physical) key for a few times to get into recovery. |

you don't need to plug in the usb connector for it to work. However, it would help in the sense that u can view logcat on your adb terminal if u are connected to your pc. do u know how to use the logcat ?? from there you should be able to see what went wrong during the booting process.
Your installation seems fine cuz when you tap the back buttons your phone stuck at SE logo. That means the the script from the chargemon file is working and detected your tap. my wild guess is your existing busybox are not compatible with xRecovery. Try download and install from market. Then reinstall xRecovery 0.2 release and reboot and tap tap tap. Good luck |

QUOTE(-j-t- @ Jan 15 2011, 02:54 PM) another poor thing for this device is photo not quite good... since its only 65k color.. 16m would be perfect 65k is your screen color not the captured image color ...currently software development for x10 is now quite fast.. root, jit, 2.2 firmware.. is worth it =D Bondai, To uninstall v2, need to reverse engineer the v2 scripts .. However u can try install v1 then toggle it off. To see if its running v1 or. V2 just do a linpack test. V1 should be around 16 mflops while v2 u get double that. For no jit its only 4 or 5 Your problem is strange cuz i play angry birds also and when I play I play for more than an hour. No problem. Anyway, now in Bangkok holiday. Once I'm back and u haven't settle this problem ill try look into yhr v2 scripts Good luck!! |

if you are able to use adb then u can try to install the file explorer via adb
1) bring up command prompt 2) type "adb install <path to application on your pc>" without the code and replace <path to application on your pc> with the actual path eg. c:\application\esexplorer.apk hope that helps |

ya bro, 0.24 can root via superoneclick already. u can check xda for it, I think they have a thread for that.
if that fails just use the flash tool by binary. u can straight flash it with a generic 2.1 or pre rooted 2.1 being using beta 3 for few hours, pretty stable already. if u don't mind no camcorder u should try it out. really looking forward to a complete froyo!! so excited!! |

hehe nice job Fallen
as for the multitouch(dual touch) officially only docomo users got it now. But unofficially, everybody in the world can get it already report: freex10 beta3 is working 90% perfectly already ... overall everything felt smoother and faster. Only thing me no like is Miren browser doesn't work with it |

for random stuffs, hard to claim lar bro ...
i tried the guns n something u asked me to try , didn't FC . test for more than 1 hour i think, the game quite nice and addictive hahahah. yah, if u update thru SEUS, then all those u mentioned will be gone, but it will provide u a good base to test. However, i do have random reboot sometimes, even on stock firmware but cant really reproduce it. Mostly it happens when i notice the phone like struggling with something everything slow down till no response to touch screen, then BAM ... rebooted. I believe not enough memory and it caused kernel panic kot .. but for me its just a small issue ...hahaha doesn't really bother me |

u mean dual touch via official update??? hmm, why wait for that ?? You can flash the dual touch module via binary's flash tool and it will work with your current rom.
or u can change your region to those region that already have the release and trick SEUS to give you the latest update. |

search google for "2.1.A.0.435" this is what people are starting to get apart from the Docomo firmware.
Apparently, this have more changes compared to the Docomo ones, apparently there are some new apps and enhanced old apps. |

its the .435 fw that i mentioned earlier. I don't think it is the main UXP update version, if it is then i'm super disappointed cuz changes are too minimal to bring any impact haha

QUOTE(villa07 @ Feb 1 2011, 12:12 PM) villa , u need xrecovery version 0.2 or higher cuz your phone is known as x10HD. It has an extra mtdblock that causes the previous xRecovery to fail.just go download the latest from Z's thread if not mistaken version 0.3 and reinstall it and you will be fine |

QUOTE(villa07 @ Feb 1 2011, 12:27 PM) u installed version 2, then u install custom rom right ??if that is correct, then the xRecovery from the custom rom have over written your 0.2 with a non compatible xRecovery. Just use the 0.3 all unified 1. I think in future all custom rom will have this unified xRecovery |

on the standard keyboard, you can't
if you really want it, try search for htc_ime keyboard. In 1 of the modes for this htc_ime, it is the phonepad t9 which is similar to the Satio keyboard |
