tat seems more of a hardware problem than software

Eric, have u try test those buttons in service menu?

To access service menu do the following at the lock screen:

On the lock screen where you get the slide option , press the following buttons.

Home button ( the middle one ) > Back
button > Back button > Home button > Back
button > Home button > Home button > Back
button

After you enter the combination, a new menu opens up giving you an option to choose from Service info , Service settings and Service tests .

At least u can confirm if its the software or physical part failure for the back n menu buttons.

Ps: xda member xeviro made an app to access this particular service menu, u can use that if u are lazy to do it manually

so i can choose watever button or widget that would be visible, rite?
and the dock also hidden?

isnt it the same as using some apps that could disable the lockscreen totally?
if im not mistaken, just by pressing the Power button should wake the screen up from standby mode, without the lockscreen...

if you want the old firmware, just go xda download the previous official rom and flash it. I guess it can be done @@

Anyway, I'm going to try out the new firmware ^^ heard that it increase the volume of voice call right?

Done with the new firmware which rooted ^^ doesn't feel the volume increase a lot =( maybe try again tomorrow with my friend's x10.
