btw, this photography hobby is poisonous... u may think is just single investment thing, i have doctor friend who dont like photography but wanted to get a DSLR to snap his baby, and he say ppl who buys expensive lenses are stupid!.... today he come tell me he is one of the stupid ppl, coz he end up buying 3 lenses... lol

photography is like RPG game, once u start playing, u keep wanted to improve, and get better equipment and gears... more skill and experience u wanted to get so u become stronger.... ohh,... i miss diablo, when diablo 3 will out ah?

1st DSLR so what? My A580 is technically my 1st DSLR also. No biggie wad? Just buy, later pro, go upgrade lo biggrin.gif

actaully, 580 is really good cam already.... i still using dinasour cam... except during joint project, i uses my friends camera, ranging from all brands.

Yeap. For its price, I could find no fault with it. Cheaper than the famed 550D summore jek. Fits my budget nicely.

teh feature pack is good too. speed is nice... i wish sony can put in some serious feature, like center piority af (uses the 5 center point to shoot, works like improvised center spot af) and pump more segment in the metering sensor... 40 is just not enough

the only fault i can find is, the video could do with at least contrast detect... sigh

Can't wait to see the A77 soon. Well, there is always pro and con to a camera. I find it suiting my needs, so I go no issues with it except for the hard knobs to twist to select mode lol.

use higher shutter and small aperture with flash and use a tripod whenever possible. smile.gif
