Don't pay too much attention to aspires, he seems to come in once a week and post a whole bunch of one line responses. God knows why he even does that.

I thought uniten student would prefer iPhone like most of my friends do...what course are you doing?

Btw, any news about the updates? It's already mid of January...

It'll come when it's ready, even after they actually announce it lord knows how long we have to wait before the hardware manufacturers OK the thing for distribution. It'll all come down to how well MS has planned the update process.

battery life can be dependant on signal strength. strong 3g signal means longer life. worse is when ur in an area which ur phone cant decide wheter 3g or GSM is better

MS only mentioned early this year for the update. Everyone else is saying January update solely based on the fact that a page containing information about the update was titled januaryupdate.aspx

So, its in ur list of downloads right? Tap and hold you can see menu with retry or remove right? Remove and try again with WiFi on.

The Zune desktop application is currently unable to redownload previously purchased items

When you say phone show already downloaded, means in marketplace on the phone when you try to download it, it says "You have already downloaded this program before, download again?" Then you should say yes.

As I mentioned, do not use the Zune application to download it. The Zune app cannot redownload things which you have previously purchased before.

Therefore you have to do this from your phone through wifi

Malaysia is not a supported country yet, you'll have to get a Singapore company or something for registration.

Added on January 31, 2011, 10:43 amThere's going to be a WP7 developer event in Microsoft Malaysia soon, so if you're interested you might want to check it out.

hello guys. just wanna ask something regarding the marketplace. is there any options to buy and download the apps rather than using a credit card?
*
For now, nope. Can only use CC to buy stuff. Add to the problem that not all Malaysian CCs can be added to the US or SG accounts so there's a little problem there.
