3G, of course. Having the internet with you while you're mobile (and not on a tiny screen) can be priceless. And I wouldn't try Skype without wireless, so dunno tongue.gif

if you have an iphone or other phone that has tethering capability and compatible with the ipad and data plan you can tether it with your ipad wifi.
best to have an iphone since it will work out of the box.
And also I heard if you tethered it, you will get gps as well with the ipad wifi, thus one of the reason i took wifi model only cause i seldom used my iphone data plan and wifi is everywhere where i am planning to use it most of the time.

Loving the iPad 2 so far.. Camera is nothing to shout about coz the quality sucks but speed improvement is what I like most... Everything's much snappier, including typing, loading websites, launching apps... Hope this stays this way when i fill it up with media coz for now it's still relatively empty, gotta get back home before syncing with itunes.. Cant comment much on speaker quality coz i havent taken off the plastic wrapping tongue.gif waiting til i can get a proper protector/skin for the back..

Upgrading from iPad 1 to iPad 2 is like moving from 3G to 3GS.. Not necessary but you won't regret it at all.. Plus, white is frickin sexy!

I am also using window and is interested to know about transfering files..
Can we use the wifi on Ipad2 to connect to a network on window OS and perform file transfers?

or use peer2peer networking with a window OS network?

or is there an apps that can do the functions?

what about printing documents? can Ipad 2 print thru wifi networking? especially a printer on a window OS?

@Toobad: i believe Ipad does not come with USB... and the USB cable is only for charging and interface with Mac pc.

You need to have iTunes for your Window OS, where it works as your media library and the same time it can be sync your media to your iPhone, iPodTouch and iPad with the provided USB cable. Synchronisation can either be automatically or customised to transfer your musics, photos, movies..etc for different supporting devices. iTunes is free for both Mac & PC platform, so download and install one to your PC to play around or googled to know more bout iTunes. PDF, Words, Excel and Powerpoint are managed by Apps, you can simply upload them to your mail and download to your PC.
