QUOTE(butthead012 @ Dec 21 2010, 02:17 PM) Samfirmware.comAdded on December 21, 2010, 2:37 pm QUOTE(jujx @ Dec 21 2010, 02:12 PM) It won't remove any apps, you can update from 5.6. Actually, coming from a clean stock JPU then flashed to clean stock JPX and then Darky 6.0, I did notice 1 small bug or issue - when going to Settings / Display / Wallpapers / Lock Screen Wallpaper / Gallery, I get process com.android.settings FC everytime. Probably it's pointing to stock gallery app and Darky has removed that in favour of the modded gallery app?But if you're facing FC or problems, try clean install Added on December 21, 2010, 2:40 pmOh yeah, one more thing. Had a very interesting experience flashing fresh XXJPX. Everytime I flash using ODIN, with 512 pit and repartition checked, the phone would finish and boot with non stop vibrations. Had to flash XXJPU with 512 pit and repartition checked, then flash XXJPX without pit and without repartition to get it up to JPX without issues. QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Dec 21 2010, 02:34 PM) Samfirmware.com Lock Screen Wallpaper FC because that option is for TouchWiz, but darkyy changed it to AOSP lock screen so the option won't work.Added on December 21, 2010, 2:37 pm Actually, coming from a clean stock JPU then flashed to clean stock JPX and then Darky 6.0, I did notice 1 small bug or issue - when going to Settings / Display / Wallpapers / Lock Screen Wallpaper / Gallery, I get process com.android.settings FC everytime. I usually flash to elcair stock then flash to darkky. Stock Eclair.. wow, feels like so long ago. You do Eclair followed by Darky because you want the 2e recovery menu (in order to apply Darky), yes? How about CF-Root, do you still use after going to Darky or is Darky already pre-rooted? I actually did JPU via ODIN -> JPX via ODIN -> CF-Root via ODIN -> CWM update.zip via 2e -> Darky 6.0 zip via CWM. Indian ma, I like long winded process.. |

I am using the SGS drivers from Softpedia.com for my Windows laptop (Win7 32bit). At home, I just enable usb_debugging to access the phone from my Linux (Ubuntu 10.04 64bit and 10.10 64bit) computers. However, i successful connect to my laptop after install KIES. |
