how to check :

open ur gallery 1st ... then wait 10 sec , then close ur gallery ... go to *#*#info#*#*  to check ... see how many sec there .... then close it ...

after 2 minutes ....

go *#*#info#*#* to check again ...  if the timer of the gallery got increase ... mean its still using the gallery sensor even if u closed ur gallery ... mean its drinking ur juice ...

yeahhh, now im liking the rom so much!  btw, my CSC code seems changed, from XSO to KOR. do i have to change back to XSO? will it bring any changes like to the internet or mms if i keep the KOR code instead?

I use root explorer to put it in the /sdcard/system after i removed the original Gallery3d from the folder. Am i doing it correctly? i don't see gallery in my apps list anymore.

Android's browser has something bothering me. I cannot download plenty of files of unknown file type for the phone. For example, I tried to download Speedmod kernel over the stock browser and I am denied to download.

if u flash into another rom next time and wipe everything, u dont have 2 worry about your contacts coz it's already backed up by google..

I may need some quick understanding of this rom + firmware update thingy..
This is what I am understand from a quick reading :-

1st -I downloaded the "I9000XXJPU ##" file in here :

This is Europe firmware right? I assume I can use them as many of you mention it here.

2 - I extract I9000XXJPU.rar, and found there are 5 files inside the extracted folder :-
i. Odin3v1.3
ii. GT-I9000-CSC-MULTI-OXAJPU.tar
iii. I9000XXJPU-REV03-PDA-low-CL747761.tar
iv. MODEM_I9000XXJPU.tar
v. s1_odin_20100512

3. I remove the sim card from the phone, and go to "Download Mode" by holding/pressing Volume Down+Home Button + Power Button until the phone screen show "Downloading.. Do not turn off Target!!".

4. I run the Odin3v1.3 program,
and choose those 4 particular files.
i. s1_odin_20100512 for PIT
ii. I9000XXJPU-REV03-PDA-low-CL747761.tar to PDA
iii. MODEM_I9000XXJPU.tar to Phone
iv. GT-I9000-CSC-MULTI-OXAJPU.tar to CSC
Then click Start to run the Flashing job.

That all right?
Those above task is to flash the stock XXJPU firmware? its consider as rooting?
