QUOTE(JoLee @ Dec 16 2010, 03:27 PM) That is why I will think twice of buying a Proton. The last time I call the I Care number to lodge a complain on warranty for my Waja they also never bother to call you back. I don't know why they never learn. When the Waja was hot when it was 1st launched in the early 2000, their attitude is take it or leave it attitude. I remember waiting 6 months for the car and they delivered the car minus the cover for the seat belt anchors. I had good experience with I-care. When I called service center number, there was no pick up. So I called I-care for help and they had arrange the appointment (first service) and called me back confirming the appt time that I had wanted.I think you guys have to be more assertive with them if not it will be the same cock and bull story. Once the car is hot selling customer service is forgotten. I would rate their service GREAT. maybe i was very lucky? |

what i heard from Subang Jaya SS14 proton edar SA, he claimed that if order now for 2.0P, you will need to wait at least 6 month. He said that the plant or machinery that produce 2.0P still not yet arrived. They are in the process delivering from Japan and the Japan technician should also come here to teach the staff here how to work with the machine. What you all get currently is those the initial production from Thailand.
So I dunno how fast the staff here can catch up how to work on the machine, and may be QC issue. Hopefully, the Japan Technician be a QController to check all the car. If they use campro, they are shooting their own foot.
Unless they can prove that their new campro 1.8/2.0 can outperform the current MIVEC engine. Chances are very slim. |

I googled. Yes. Mitsubishi has 2 factories there and going to build third one.
10 Dec 2010 ... Mitsubishi is building a third factory in Thailand. The new plant will build Mitsubishi's new "global small" compact, beginning in March ... |
