Are you having more than one SCB card? If you have 2 SCB CCs, then having 2x free 11,000 points would make sense.

Yes, sometimes I do feel that SCB JustOne Titanium is better than OCBC Titanium.
*
SCB JustOne Titanium is for big spender? and ocbc is for small spender? is the comparison i do correct? hmm.gif

i only hv one card with SCB at that time
but i complaint about not being awarded the 11k points via both email and phone and ended up getting the points twice

well, JustOne is at least on par if not better than OCBC titanium

Added on December 19, 2010, 6:15 pm

for scb justone, u can finish the RM600 allocation in one swipe or witihin one month, so it's better in that way
in terms of total cash back, it's same with OCBC titanium, and also to less extend same with AMEX (RM150 x 4 for current campaign) and PBB (RM100 x 6 or more in two or more campaigns per annum) although campaigns can change and not fixed
*
so overall, scb justone is preferred for people who swipe big amount at one go drool.gif

QUOTE(rockefeller @ Dec 19 2010, 08:09 PM)
high percentage but not always. your ccris is still being checked also. nowadays maybank has included a clause which allows them to decline even pre approved applications.

pre approved applications are made based on branch's recommendation but processing unit still runs through credit review before giving their green light.

maybank branches normally offer pre approved credit cards and charge cards (except maybank world mastercard and american express platinum charge card both are exclusively pre approved only to maybank PMW customers) based on a few factors which may include:
1) substantial FD
2) salary banked in through that maybank branch even though by cheque bank in and not via auto credit
3) hire purchase / housing loan / OD facility
*
nice information, i understand now. Thanks
