*
we talking about fuel rebates not other vouchers! sweat.gif

Lazy to do the maths but agak agak is PBB Esso/Mobil + Smiles Card >>> MBB Petronas + Mesra Card
*
yes u are correct regarding the reward points given by the petrol station (smiles & mesra).

to get rm10 petronas from mesra card, u need to pump 1000 litres which for ron95, its rm1900 sweat.gif

Usually how long does it take to get replacement card? Will the CC number changed too?
I'm curious if you say its not in good condition, will they replace the card immediately? and also waive the annual fees?
*
my experienced, less than a week with DA. report friday, next wednesday received.
the number is same. no annual fee if within a year (coz u paid already).

I'm not sure how fast new card is issued.
Last October is my Citibank Shell card's expiry date, they sent me new card even before expiry.
I got it waived but still I cancelled it already.
*
if card is nearing expiry, bank will send 1 month earlier.

but for replacement due to chip error, it will only proceed after u report it. same number.
for replacement due to lost/stolen, new number will be given and yes, neet to pay gst and annual fee (if applicable) - coz this consider new card (new number).
to get it waived, call them and begging them! laugh.gif

guys, which one better?

HSBC Amanah which give you 0.5% rebate or PBB Esso/Mobil CC which give you rebate for petrol and also if not wrong 0.5% also for all kind of usage right?
*
IF, for new applicant, better go for pbb esso/mobil.

u get cashback to cover your gst.
u can get cashback 8% on 1st statement if apply online.
u can get 15% cashback till 31/3/2011 (and car?) if u join the promo (via sms).

QUOTE(chemistry @ Dec 19 2010, 12:01 AM)
Is there any Esso/Mobil in PLUS highway nearby Kajang? northbound or southbound also OK.
*
inside plus dont have.

but if exit kajang, go straight to bangi, esso is on the left after traffic light. there also offer 2x points.

Be aware, HSBC Amanah is Islamic card, so can't use for clubbing, non-halal merchant. Just like one of case in MalayMail, one of amanah user was declined when he try to swipe in pizza restaurant. If i'm not mistaken, it was domino pizza as mentioned by a forumer  tongue.gif

...and domino pizza is halal! doh.gif

QUOTE(PPZ @ Dec 19 2010, 01:25 AM)
actually i got one hsbc amanah card and i feel useless for this card. only 0.5% cash back which is damn small amount. if i apply pbb esso/mobil only can get 8% cash back for the 1st month right? and also they provide 0.5% for all usage?
*
pbb 8% cashback on 1st month only if u apply online.

0.5% cashback for all retail purchase exclude transactions at casino and petrol stations, cash advances, balance transfer, government-related payments, payments to charity and utility bills payments via www.pbebank.com, PB Telebanking and ATM.
