yes u are correct regarding the reward points given by the petrol station (smiles & mesra).

to get rm10 petronas from mesra card, u need to pump 1000 litres which for ron95, its rm1900

my experienced, less than a week with DA. report friday, next wednesday received.
the number is same. no annual fee if within a year (coz u paid already).

if card is nearing expiry, bank will send 1 month earlier.

but for replacement due to chip error, it will only proceed after u report it. same number.
for replacement due to lost/stolen, new number will be given and yes, neet to pay gst and annual fee (if applicable) - coz this consider new card (new number).
to get it waived, call them and begging them!

hey i'm living in kajang.
grand saga both way got 1 each.
next to kpj / kompleks kota kajang got 1.
opposite tmn zamrud (heading to semenyih) got 1.
sungai chua also got 1.

somemore, grand saga and next to kpj offer 2x points!

err... if card lost, u need to pay for gst and annual fee (if applicable)

no harm to go to the kompleks kota kajang/kpj there. 2x points!

esso at bangi (near plus exit kajang) also offer 2x points

IF, for new applicant, better go for pbb esso/mobil.

u get cashback to cover your gst.
u can get cashback 8% on 1st statement if apply online.
u can get 15% cashback till 31/3/2011 (and car?) if u join the promo (via sms).

inside plus dont have.

but if exit kajang, go straight to bangi, esso is on the left after traffic light. there also offer 2x points.

if u exit at sungai besi, then heading to jln tun razak, got esso on the left.
if u coming from kl to kajang, before sungai besi toll got mobil there (with mcd).

i noticed it since early december.

u cant ask to waived gst. even if u are current customer. what bank can offer is give free points to redeem the gst.
if new card, dont ever dare to dream ~

hsbc kajang got 2 cdm. so far never give me prob.
previously, i missed 1 time due date. so cdm after 1 day of that due date
