Wow.. Amazon.UK being kind to me.. on the 17th, they send my final parcel.. the bad thing is my Alien Anthology has been held by ketam since early of January. The boxes containing my other BD's were totally destroyed by the ketams. They just used some tape to bind all the BD's together!  mad.gif Wife was so surprised to see the condition, but lucky no damage on the casings. Anyway glad it all arrived.  nod.gif

Must have? Depends on what your preferable movie type.

Below is my must have list:
  • The Sound of Music (not coming yet, nearly two months waiting... haizz... this is my top list!...)
  • Moulin Rouge
  • The Ultimate Matrix Collection
  • Toy Story Ultimate Box set (1, 2 & 3)
  • Alien Anthology (coming soon)
  • BBC Life
  • Avatar
  • Shrek: The Whole Story (I don't have yet, in wish list)
  • Star Wars: The Complete Saga (It is not out yet, but can pre-order now)
  • Tangle (Pre-order title also)

For me, I won't recommend any Criterion collection as not all people can accept. I normally also watch once for those criterion movies as it is too deep for most of it.

I just noticed that, Starz in UK got release I Spit On Your Grave Collection which inclide both 1978 version and 2010 remake for the price of £17.99.

However, this collection is very likely region B locked and UK's 1978 version is cut version.

Most, if not all, of Criterion's releases are critically-acclaimed movies. Seven Samurai, for instance, is on many 'Top 100 Movies of All Time' lists [and topping thoses lists too!].

Most of the reviews on their releases are also very good. So far I don't think there has been any bad reviews and complaints on the transfer, special features, etc. hmm.gif

Only downside is that most of their releases are bloody expensive sweat.gif

Perhaps what you're saying is that Criterion's releases are too artsy-fartsy for the regular joes who get their fix on Scott Pilgrim vs The World...

In that case, you may well be right, brother biggrin.gif
