Does anyone bring their rabbits to the vet for health check-up?
Is there a need for any test to be done?

I was told that its for "record" purposes. In case the rabbit falls sick they can check the health history.

that's a female. there are male bunnies available there and you are more than welcome to come
and adopt them. However, please be reminded that PAWS has a strict neuter and spay policy for adoption
ya biggrin.gif

P.S: anyone knows where to get cheap hays for bunnies? the ones at PAWS only got pellets to eat all day and
very little hay due to it being costly. do let me know if you've got any suggestion notworthy.gif

what do u mean by neuter and spay policy?
is that means the rabbit are all neutered and spayed?
or it means i need to spay and neuter them before i adopt?

btw, if u r looking for cheap hay for bunnies, i can recommend Here
i have been feeding my bunnies using hay from this supplier and others as well.
not sure on the quality but it does help me whenever i have tight budget at the end of month tongue.gif

Thank you for the suggestion suadrif.

To your question above:
1. Neuter and spay policy means all the animals adopted from PAWS will not be able to reproduce i.e: no little bunnies for females and if male it won't have the urge to
mate. This is to prevent unwanted litter and strays. Please do Google the Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage method to control strays and abuse. Even DBKL practices that now
but it have not reached the level of public awareness that shelters hoped due to numerous challenges.

2. The rabbit are not neutered and spayed at the moment due to lack of volunteer vets.

3. Yes, all animals adopted from the shelter must be neutered and spayed before the adoption process can take place.

Once again the details are as below if you would like to contact them or just spend some time with the rabbits biggrin.gif
PAWS Animal Welfare Society

sorry suadrif, that wouldn't be possible as it's a strict policy from PAWS and all shelters to help
control the population of strays and abuse.
