that's why there are breeders like truluv that always emphasize on quality and responsible breeding.
alot of greedy scumbag breeders just treating rabbits as an easy meal ticket making them breed non-stop to earn money for free.
they do not have if their rabbits have health issues that will be passed down to their litter just profit.
this is why many cases of rabbits that die early, plus as soon as the bunny's have fur they will put them at shops to sell coz cute.
if they're too young they won't survive.
rabbits should live until 8 years.

Anyone can recommend a vet in Ampang area? Unfortunately this morning when I went to do the usual routine to feed my rabbit, I saw some few red spots about a five cent coin at the inside of his left ear and it got me worried if he has caught a skin disease or something? I only manage to see it today. sad.gif

Besides that, where can I neuter him as well? he's already 6 months old + and starting to get sexually aroused sometimes

The expected rabbit lifespan is about 9–12 years; the world's oldest rabbit on record lived 18 years.

2 years consider still young.

Sound like rabbit ear mites. Ivermectin should be injected by vet.

My rabbit passed away this morning. 2 years old and 4 months. The reason I think is being too old as her reaction slowed down past few months. Feeling very bad and down now  doh.gif  cry.gif

Just to update on the current situation I have now, my rabbit buck is now scratching his left ear more frequently than ever and the red spots I mentioned is still clearly visible there on his ear and now I understand why he hasn't been moving about actively as of lately for the past few weeks. The infection could have taken few weeks before and I didn't spot the red spots on his left ear until now. By the way there is another rabbit doe staying with him too and could she too have gotten the infection? Please help I need to find a vet soon but I don't know where in Ampang area. icon_question.gif

here my solution ,

u buy dustbin a big plastic 1 , as big as possible.

u buy one bottle spray , for hair saloon etc , spray , like water the plants ,

u fill in water , put rabbit in big plastic bin , spray it alot alot in the ear.

the ear canker cake will soft , then u can korek with finger nail.

u oput in big bin because it cant run away , and cant danger is leg , when rabbit circle , u circle around to get angle to korek ear .

then u korek it , until a moment , u feel had enough stop it , put banana to stimulate it eat.

if ur rabbit is not dutch type , u scared to inject , u can buy oral ivermectin , Bexton Itin Vet from malay arnab sellers , google it.
i recommend the azurarabbit,.

korek the ear will relieve the ear . i scared vet and scared of ivermectin , it not suit for all rabbit , some will die . rabbit ear got 2 hole , one upper ear (no hole but got deep in) , another is real hole on bottom , korek both after it become vet , it can be korek

my rabbit some , it will get mites again , but maybe 1-2 month once i korek , it really relive and stop its and stop them become like tahan sakit and kecut there. long time it will give up and die u know

be very very very patience when korek it , and make sure dont korek it in cage , it leg will stuck

I appreciate your input dantck, but the problem my rabbit have now is just a little few red spots on the insides of his left ear now, no large crusted bits of flakes around his entire ear. I'm just worried the problem could become worse later. I think tomorrow I'll post a pic of him with his ear to show. Both of my rabbits are the mix local breed type that I bought from Pets Wonderland by the way...

I see, but she just seems hate dry food. Hay she used to move all and throw outside of cage. Other food she didnt
eat much.

Still unsure whats the cause, persuading it may be her age is kinda old. When last time we took her home,
The shopkeeper uncle mentioned that she is just 6 months but we doubt about it.
As she started to reach 16 months, her movement became slower and eye sight seems a bit not good de.

How old was ur rabbit previously? Mine good memory as she will do all sort of crazy aka cute action. Imagine that she will kiss ur leg for a while after you open the cage for her. rclxub.gif

1-2 mouth of banana. to test whether they are ok or not , if they eat ok , no eat no ok.

i give pellet , banana , and delikate.

or u can find alternate mixed vege like delikate ,eg in chubyypetgarden, they very like it.

rabbit stomach will stuck if it keep eat is friend hair , or own hair , or cage got rabbit fur stuck on the cage wall.

clean the wall prevent they eat , and give a lot hay i like give alfalfa , so they stomach ok , and can live long .

or u can buy this

For her, the food that we gave mainly carrots, pellets, yogurt and grass since she young. For the high
vitamin food like yogurt, we just give her 1-2 per day as we found out 4 for her caused her stomach not okay.

Briter Bunny brand was the last brand pellets that we gave her. That one in the link you sent we gave before.
Briter Bunny she took it about few packs and her fur tend to become very pretty. Her fur was kinda short and less before.

She live alone in her cage as she is the only pet we having. For the fur part, she likes to hang her fur all over cage to mark it as her place.

Overall as for your past experience, 2-3 years old rabbit consider old? We dunno much as she is the only pet we have and my aunt rabbit all bye2 just within few months. Old rabbit eat a little and movement slower? She tend to eat very less past few months. Haiz..
