Where do i get Woody pets bedding?

secondly, the listed rabbit first aid kit, can i buy in advance to keep or does the listed items have short life span?

how often do you feed your rabbit treats? Hay is to be served buffet style. What about pellets? Is it a must to be included into each meal?

Any pet shop will do. They put it under Rabbits/Guinea Pigs/Hamsters/Sugar Gliders section.

We are lucky they only poo while running, not pee.
If yes, then we have to mop all around the house sweat.gif

Hi, I'm new to taking in a rabbit as a pet. On election day, I went to Pets Wonderland Store at Great Easter Mall branch and I bought a local cross breed rabbit which he is about almost a month old (I named him Chester tongue.gif ) and so far I'm enjoying keeping him smile.gif But I have a few questions regarding general care and certain product I bought from there:-

1.) I bought the Genesis Alfalfa extruded pellets and also the alfalfa hay from them (Their own brand). But the thing is, I knew that Alfalfa has high content in calcium and much less in fiber and so far I've been feeding him the two stuff for a few days now and I noticed his pee becomes a thick yellow tone although sometimes it can be reddish brown colour too? should I be worried about it and do I need to change to another type of hay or pellet?

2.) Besides the food, do I have to clean his backside once in a while? Because I do know the dangers of the fly strike disease due to a dirty rabbit's bum but the problem is Chester won't let me pick him up for me to check and make sure it's not too dirty.

3.) Is it safe I give him an empty toilet roll as a toy? I'm not sure cause maybe it may contain harmful stuff in it?

4.) Lastly, I also bought Chipsi Classic for the bedding from Pets Wonderland as I saw there aren't that many choices and I'm not sure if the other brands they are selling are safe to use. So, is Chipsi Classic bedding good or bad? (link to product:- http://www.petshack.com.my/webshaper/store...roductItem=664)

I would really appreciate any feed back and help, thank you nod.gif smile.gif

Hi, I'm new here. I have a bunny with head tilt, started at 1 months old at 45degree and it has tilt to 90degree at 2months old. We suspect it was the bunny that got its head stuck in between the cage wire & we had to open up the wire in between to pull the bunny out. If the cause of the head tilt was because of this trauma could it be any cure? The other 5 bunnies that were born are absolutely fine. We have brought it to see a vet, the vet gave nerve pill (on the pill written E322, outer is white, inside is pink), vet said no ear infection, my bunny has taken the pill for 3 weeks, sadly to say, we don't see improvement with the head tilt. I checked with the vet can it takes anti-inflammatory pill but the vet said it may be of no used since the trauma happened 2months ago.

Anyone has any similar case or any idea that would help my bunny? Very appreciated if you could shed some light here.

(Attached is the photo of my bunny (Bobi) taken yesterday at 3months old)

1. same goes to mine. after give them alfafa genesis, it seems like they are having diarhea. i think its normal maybe due to the extrude content.

2. can u let it play around for 10-15 mins? my rabbit also quite active, but after tired they will go to their favourite spot under ceiling fan.

3. yes its safe. its one of their fav toy smile.gif

4. i am also looking for this info. anyone can answer this? tongue.gif

ok thanks for some answers.

1.) But just now I went to check on him again and again for the 3rd time his pee is a thick yellow tone to it and also some other red brownish pee too, I'm a bit worried if I should continue giving Alfalfa type pellets and hay to him, is he getting too much calcium?? By the way I have only seen him having a bit of diarrhea once but it's gone already.

2.) err not sure how the playing activity would help me checking out his bum to make sure it's clean...? hmm.gif

3.) ok, maybe I might give one to him to see how his reaction to it. Though I'll make sure it's not a bleached empty toilet roll or anything colourful.

4.) ah that's fine, but after checking out Chipsi's website apparently it's bedding are made with two types of Softwood, Fir and Spruce Wood. I don't think softwood shavings are good for bedding as according to some other Rabbit website guides, it can be toxic and cause respiratory problems. sad.gif I think i'll have to start looking for other alternatives.

after they play, it got tired and rest itself under ceiling fan. during that time, i take the opportunity to rub them and comb their fur.
