Then go near her, pat and comb her smile.gif

Yeah, I guess bribing does work too hehe tongue.gif

Just another question, where do you guys usually buy Alfalfa and Timothy hay besides from pet shops? I'm actually planning to introduce Timothy to my bun and mix together with Alfalfa and my Alfalfa hay is running out too. Oh, and any brand to recommend too? smile.gif

there is two option
if u want the cheapo unit, get it from Mudah.my, but its not so fresh. some of the hay turned into yellow. but still my rabbit eat them non-stop.
if u want it fresh, u buy from the market in garage sales or Critterz.com. they sell it rm20/kg. its not cheap and its not expensive. its just a normal market price.

but for me i think it does not make any difference. my rabbit eat it anyway biggrin.gif

Well depends.
If its not considered their territory in visiting mode they don't shit.
But if they roam it everyday they will shit there.

QUOTE(Pompomfa @ May 9 2013, 03:26 PM)
Hi, I'm new here.  I have a bunny with head tilt, started at 1 months old at 45degree and it has tilt to 90degree at  2months old. We suspect it was the bunny that got its head stuck in between the cage wire & we had to open up the wire in between to pull the bunny out. If the cause of the head tilt was because of this trauma could it be any cure?  The other 5 bunnies that were born are absolutely fine. We have brought it to see a vet, the vet gave nerve pill (on the pill written E322, outer is white, inside is pink), vet said no ear infection, my bunny has taken the pill for 3 weeks, sadly to say, we don't see improvement with the head tilt. I checked with the vet can it takes anti-inflammatory pill but the vet said it may be of no used since the trauma happened 2months ago.

Anyone has any similar case or any idea that would help my bunny? Very appreciated if you could shed some light here.

(Attached is the photo of my bunny (Bobi) taken yesterday at 3months old)

buy "panacur for rabbit" imported ebay uk,

or buy fenbendazole for rabbit , from this ,
http://fayumadumidae.blogspot.com/p/mini-pet-shop.html

my rabbit in 1 month ok back.

but if u want panacur fast , I hv , I sell u rm100 / unit ...

note panacur is calculated for rabbit the quantity.

if u buy from fayuma rabbit , if u see the label it wrote 100mg / kg , rabbit is need 20mg/kg .

means 1/5 time only , means u give 0.1 or 0.2 ml per day only. for 28 days .

she tell me give that 100mg/kg 1ml for 3 days , that is over kill , don't trust her ,

trust her product but don't trust her quantity ....

I cured mine ,

Its okay if its really hot dry days. But depends on your rabbit actually.

Rabbit are a clean creature by nature. Its not recommended to bath them with water but if your rabbit smell awful, you could use dry shampoo instead or I just rub a small bit of cornstarch in the fur and brush it off.

If you're worried about your rabbit's health, you could do a normal checkup (nails, teeth, feel the body, and turn it over to check the bum). I adopted a rabbit with scabies, matted hair, one missing fingernail, digestion problem (small dry poop) etc. First few weeks, its like taking care of a baby. Now he's better and healthier now.

I'm using chipsi strawberry scented wood chips because its the cheapest of the bunch and I have no problem with it so far. There are no reliable studies that prove softwood are dangerous for rabbits other than rabbit sites saying it. There are paper-based pet litter too which you can find on petstore.

The only problem with respiratory problem among rabbits was animal studies on occupational hazard or whether you and your rabbits are allergic to them.

Rabbit urine can have a lot of colors (like humans) but red urine is nothing to worried about and is associated by diet pigments. Hematuria (blood in urine) is a more severe case (can be kidney failure) but it will look more red-brownish (clot) than true red, painful abdominal palpitation and enlarged bladder but if you're worried about it, go to a vet.

During warmer days, you can give them frozen bottles to cool down. Cool veges are fine as long as they do not contain too much water e.g. lettuce.

problem with the frozen water bottles, it will condense and wet the fur. I have an adult lionhead with wooly coat so I don't really like moisture on him.

if possible, on really hot dry days or when you feel their ears became too warm to the touch, put him indoors or shaded areas and feed him water on syringe.
