SOME QUESTION... NEED SOME ADVICE...

(my Bunny info: 11month old, Anggora mix)

After 3 month outstation to other state.... my bunny was left wit my parents care.

1. they put pallets in the cage as a normal food with the hay ended up my naughty bunny don wan to eat the hay anymore.
(usually i use pallet as a threat only when training him tricks and luring him in the garden)

2. the naughty rabbit don wan to do his 4 tricks that he usually known, after i back from 3 month outstation. (u know la, "granny" always manja their "cucu") don ask the naughty rabbit do trick while keep sayang him only..

PROBLEMS ARRISE

1. As stated, the rabbit don even wan to do the simplest trick anymore when i ask him to do it.

2. when i open his cage, he not come to lick my hand and ask for threat anymore.... he keep squeeze at a the side of the cage like im going to kill him.. zzz...

3. giving him fruit, pallets, (which he usually love them... from my hand)..... he will push away the food very hard... and put his head away from my hand.. turn here turn there when i put the food to his face....

4. after i give up.. i put his food at the tray inside the cage... he will stil squeeze at the side of the cage... BUT after i lock his cage, he will stand up.. go eat the food...

Bunny lovers.... how to get my bunny back to normal??????? Pls help... SAD SAD SAD.... very brilliant bunny which know more n more tricks and happy go lucky wit me all the way when go to the garden..... now act totally different when see me.... sad.gif

poor kjkam... your rabbit dont want to friend you anymore. I'm not a rabbit specialist or rabbit whisperer, i think you rabbit either grew to be lazy (they get lazier as they age) or your rabbit is not familiar with you anymore. I think for now, best to give it more attention. I think rabbits are attention seeker too! My female rabbit, Fluffy will thump her feet loudly when we ignore her for some time.

Good luck in understanding your rabbits behaviour!

HAHA...rabbit are curious animals. My male rabbit (Original name Bunny) sometimes nickname as Pak Sibuk. He likes to kepoh and sibuk when people change/clean cage. especially if you want to clean that spot, he will purposely stand there as though he wants to help as well. Really cute!
*
we always call her busybody or "kepoh-chi".
if got people come, she go sniff then want to lick and then want to be carried. Dad will say put her back in the pen. rclxub.gif
when I clean her pen she always disturb. Walk and climb all over and even lie on the wet floor.

u can still throw the hay... i'm also against carrot, it serves like "dadah" to a rabbit - seen many that starved themselves just to wait for another dish of carrot...

Rabbit can live without pellet, give as many hay as you can, they will be fine by just munching on hay. you can actually give carrot as a treat, may be once in two weeks. smile.gif

Hi, i don't see that as a problem.... pee can come out in many other colours depending on the feeds n kind of water they drink on... common problem with dwarfs however, is malocclusion - its inherited from their dwarf ancestry n u need to check the teeth always.

Do u mean [Bengy 25kg - repack rm2.50/kg] or [Bengy 5kg rm17.50/pack]? I've heard many bad reviews on the 25kg pack, but some say the 5kg pack has better quality. Cargil is more pallatable than Bengy though. While rabbits love GoldCoin, it tends to make them obesse so I avoid GoldCoin.
As for myself, i'm using using Hagen - they come in 5lbs(2.27kg) pack for rm19.80, and 2.5lbs pack for rm11.80 - price depends on where u are, in terms of availability - Hagen is available at Giant, so i can buy my rabbits' food while doing my monthly shopping, it saves on parking ticket. And another thing, Hagen has "suitable for Dwarf Rabbits" written on its labels.
Anyway, i only give small ammounts of pallets daily, main diet is Alfalfa and Timothy hay, made availlable all day. I use Bermuda hay for their nest.

Im her BF here.We are feeding were feeding the bengy 1kg at 1st,later on now a friend said its the same as the 25kg repack so we got 2kg of that. But now im going to change it into hagen 2.27kg after this bag finish.
As for hay we wer using Alfafa(the bugger loves this) but the same friend recommended timothy.Btw this guy is a rabbit breeder as well(our rabbit wasnt from him). But our ND doent even touch the timothy hay.So im going to change to Alfafa now.
My plan is to feed alfafa as staple n provide some pellet everyday.Tats all.Good enof? Im looking for the bermuda hay for beding but cant find...is it cheap?

Bermuda hay comes at the same price as Alfalfa n Timothy hay, i do not use it as bedding but as the newborn babies' nesting material because it has finer stalks n leaves.
