The dilemma for some of us fresh grads or soon-to-be fresh grads is that we don't have the cable or have yet to establish the connection yet. Other than gathering as much info as we can, we haven't known any or much people who are in the industry itself (unless u consider the forum posters ).. so what are we supposed to do other than following the standard procedures - polishing up our resumes and dropping them at the HRs then waiting to be shortlisted for interviews??

I am a mechanical engineering student. And my strongest subjects are thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. Other than that, I am good at analyzing data and I prefer indoor > outdoor job scope. So I am wondering what kind of position suits me the best. Please comment if u can. Thanks in advance.

Yea, still remember what u told me back then. Those are indeed some paths which I can go into, but lets say I wanna something that is not related to QC/QA, inspection and manufacturing.. what are other options I can have since I am good at those few subjects (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer) mentioned earlier, particularly in the O&G industry?

Don't have to spoon feed me, just give me some clues
