if im not mistaken pdp is for the Professional.eng recognition.its the points you need to accumulate.i oso dah lupa about those stuff, the pdp, ir thingy and etc.time uni dulu lec told us and briefed us about them.

mm not soo much i think but you do need to keep log/journo, then maybe attend a few courses wch they held(that carries more pdp pts) and then after reach the certain number of pts+years in work i think you can sit for the exam to get P.Eng, and kalau x silap need to write a paper ithink...im a bit fuzzy on the details.

if you think you want the P.Eng then you best ask your lec or visit their site or ask some one here  who already has them.but the first step for all of us is being registered as a grad eng after konve+ada the certs.

well being a penanam anggur currently, i would relish having "that" then tanam anggur.

Hi guys..actually i got and invitation for interview at Shell.i would like to know what is the flow for the interview?what will be asked during the interview?can u guys advice me for tips or hint?really need your help guys..

actually i just received email state that i'm selected for the interview but still waiting for shell representative to call me arranging for interview..just wanna prepare early because i'm looking forward to this opportunity.

I'm planning to apply for petronas, shell, technip etc. after meeting them at my varsity's career fair...I'm graduating in 5 months time...should I apply now? How should I state my highest qualification then? petronas online application is complicated.

(( no wonder nowadays when someone mentioned tht he/she is an employee of schlumberger, evrryone's mouth goes wide open, if the perosn happens to hold a high post position or is a Head Of department in Schlumberger/Shell/ Exxon Mobil or any hard like hell to get in kind of company...evryone faints .X_X

Yup, even Shell has its gruelling interveiws which will leave many excellent students also dumbstrucked...hmm, i guess to get a job at these companies is sometimes like betting on a lottery, no 100 % guarantees although you may have perfect cgpa, top varisty coco award, or whatever top award u can think of and u had achieved, luck plays tht 1 % vital important part of it.=)

That's correct bro. The options were obvious hence I've chosen Aus that time.
O&G in Aus is strong indeed, but personally I feel that mining industry in Aus is more attractive 

I'm still quite new in the industry, hope to build up more network in the future. We shall keep in touch then 
I'm a geophysicist, working in a seismic processing department.
We deal with a lot of processing work for the O&G industry. WesternGeco, PGS, CGGV and Fugro Jason fsi, offered similar services like the company I work with.

Though my tertiary education is Geology, but what I'm doing now, is more related to geology+physics.
Petroleum geology was one of my majors and it was indeed interesting. Not forget to mention other subjects like stratigraphy, structural geology, and sedimentology.
It should be fun for you bro =)
Yeah, Shell online application is a bit too "detailed", asking lots of questions. I remembered I put 10, when the question is asking "How attractive Shell is to you as an employer?" 

finally, i appointed as engineer in one of oil & gas company after waited for 9 months patiently.

haih...i feel so glad becoz i get the job after hundred of resume i sent to them.

my 1st day working is tuesday, next week.
