the screen have the "up" button ?

Most probably your wifi setting file corrupted. But no worried follow below instruction which i've posted earlier to resolve this issue

Just something to share. At 1st i though is due to hardware error but suddenly i got some clue from google searching (other brand phone issue). I've use similar concept + my app "Andriod System Info". I'm able to view what's the actual problem via the Andriod LOG section.

Here is some log finding

ERROR

unable to open connection to supplicant on "/misc2/wifi/wpa_supplicant/wlan0"
Then i tried my luck to rename the original file at "/misc2/wifi" from orginal file name "wpa_supplicant.conf" to "wpa_supplicant.conf.bak".

Then I TURN ON again for WIFI.

A new "wpa_supplicant.conf" generated and now able to scan wireless network via my WIFI. thumbup.gif

Conclusion: Andriod Phone is a Developer Phone.

Totally agree on your suggestion on getting a stable OS rather than fancy one.

Do you have any screen shot how it's looks like for superbler 4.2 UI ?

Did superbler 4.2 support the ADW Launcher ?

May i know which backup tools or apps you use for backup all the contacts, messages and apps?

so, if my phone is crucial in my daily life, which one u'll suggest?
i like superbler but it's really battery sucker...

no, for the home button , for some rom u can turn left and right, but for some rom, no, how come? have to switch theme to turn it.. like switching iphone theme

that's me! haha. but 2nd hand one la. comes with phone + charger (nokia) + 2gb memory card  = RM450 (best price. asking price was RM490)

the seller give me nokia charger instead of csl spice charger.. 
from d back of d phone can see that he bought it on 9/10. so 4-5 months?

i don't understand why my phone cannot flash..
is there really are two different version of phone

i can use clockwork v 2.5.1.0 install using fastboot
2.5.1.1 and greater is unusable. when boot in recovery hang in the boot screen. i see many cases like mine like mokogero..
any solution?

if2.1 (Eclair) pre-installed.

1. Go to the market and download "ROM Manager".
2. Install "UniversalAndroot" or "z4root" to root your phone
3. Get the "RomManager" app from market
4. In "RomManager" select "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery"
5. Select "Commtiva Z71" phone (compatible with Boston and clones)
6. Select "Backup Current ROM"
7. Download [ROM of your choice] and [Google Apps a.k.a GAPPS thats compatible with it,if applicable]
8. reboot your phone in recovery mode (camera+low volume+power), or select "reboot into recovery" from ROM manager and with the wipe option clean all phone data
9. - use "install from zip...." option from recovery to update the rom, gapps and camera.
10. - Reboot and enjoy!!

Hi guys, been playing around with the phone for a few days now so now i have decided to activate the mapking which i have never used before but i cant open the program. Everything i do this pops out "The application MapKing (process com.ZiiZag) has stopped unexpectedkt. Please try again."
restart the phone and still same prob. I'm still on official rom. Any suggestions? Thanks guys~

yeah...a noobie froyo user..at first back up everything, try to install superbler 4.2 but stuck at boot with superman logo forever...try to go to recovery mode..failed..then load firetraptwonigt nB0 using SUT..then stuck here for now...happy using it worth my voided warranty..maybe later try superbler again..i knew my fault was not flashing to stock spice rom first..too eager to flash..

i cant read the whole 89 (currently) pages.

i need some who can narrow this down

im looking for something which is totally useful for my spice.
