QUOTE(Debuantu @ Jul 26 2011, 03:41 PM) I was responding to your previous accusation about EVERYONE only focuses on short term benefits etc.! What I see is a post by me asking about laptop, allowances etc. is enough to offend you and led you to the accusation. How about you go and read through the whole thread and see whether EVERYONE was only discussing about salary and allowances and other money related stuff. Wah dun have to be so sensitive. It's as simple as monetary benefits should not be a major criteria at this stage of your career. I wish you luck in your pursuit for a meaningful career. Btw u have not answered my second question And also offend is a strong word. It takes more than this for me to get offended. This post has been edited by toffeeman: Jul 26 2011, 04:55 PM

QUOTE(yuyue @ Jul 27 2011, 08:51 PM) mind telling me what they ask or test during interview? I heard its usually 2 weeks. Through email oh, you're given a scenario totally unrelated to audit and asked to engage in a group discussion abt it. basically testing your social and communication skills is all. im not sure if it's the same for other depts/divisions though.

QUOTE(egoeclipsed @ Aug 8 2011, 07:06 PM) Is it ever possible for a first year university student to secure an internship position at any of the big 4 at the end of the year? Around Nov to end of Feb. Should I apply through the online application system or just go intern at a smaller local firm and come back next year? Quite easily because they need interns to do year end audit field work. But apply early (sept/oct). You can apply online, or you can write in / submit to HR personelly (I think the latter is more effective). Or you can apply through friends/seniors you know working in those firms. Wow, that's a good period, you are more than welcome to intern for sure! come to big4, you gain more for sure.
