bro i suggest do it in single match, as it really take long time to finish if have to fight 3 matches. 1 week 9 matches, i got no time, sorry

I think 3 matches is fine, as a match usually do not take longer than 15 minutes, so it's only ~45 minutes a round. Making it single match would only encourage more cheese and all-ins.

I agree with this, 3 games are too much.

However, a bo2 system is applicable here as league normally has win/draw/lose system.

Win giv winner 2 point, draw 1 point n lose giv 0 point.
So that is easier n consume less more time.

And 1 more thing, separate all of us to 2 groups, I believe all of us won't like to do a league for a few months where Christmas new year eye n cny are ard the corner.

Shorter time n more action are more entertaining n more focusing

yeah, make it 1match, its very hard to get a tie, 2 points for the winning leg. then 1 oponent have to face 2 times total. just like BPL hahaha

make it winner gets 3 point, draw 1 point n lose of coz 0 point...
becoz it's not ez to win 2 games in a row...so an extra point for winning would be more fair

so da result would be either 2-0 or 1-1...
doesn't need as many as 3 games...
make it more flexible as this tourney is for fun n experience

I wanna make this league more friendly and can satisfy majority's needs.

After all rules are tight we can start the league!!

i hope organizer's consideration is base on ending the league as soon as possible. cuz with 30 opponents, even 1 game each opponent its 30 games ZOMG to finish a league....if bo2 then its 60 games, anyhow i dun think we can finish it in 2 months......but anything over 3 months will be too boring and heavy for most of us. best is 1 month + abit....reduce the rounds.


or another option is randomly split us into 2 diff leagues. then season 1 will end in 4 weeks (15 opponents in 4 weeks sounds ok...) then season 2 we seed into league A and league B according to points....just try to make season 1 as short as possible, 1 month ish...so that ppl will be interested.

Seems too long. a bit scary to play so long.

Maybe can devide plat and diamond in division A and gold and below devision B.

Off course, devision A winner will move up to devision A and devision B last will go to devision B

This will cut >40% of time.

Or make it 3 divison?
Division A - Diamond
Division B - Gold and Plat
Division C - Bronze and Silver

a good benchmark to start off with, then play 10-10-10 players, each play 10 games with BO2 then season 1 will end and we can start to seed leagues according to LYN league record from then on.


cuz whats the point of a competition without using its own benchmark. for 1st season of course too bad la, we follow general benchmark dulu den afterthat we just use our own results to seed.

I would suggest 2 groups with 15 ppl each with bo2 are ok. This is the premilinery stage n after that top 4 of each group will enter double elimination bracket to decide the ranking of the season.

This will greatly reduce the time constraint.

Those who I've missed, here are the questions:

I wanna do some surveys:

1) do u want all 1v1 ladder maps to be available OR shortlist only a few?
2) do u want 1 match to be BO2 OR BO3?
3) do u want to do 1 group league (all 30 people in one league) OR separate with 2 groups?

Hope u guys can answer and i'll do some amendment on the rules according to majority's vote..

1) all maps available
2) prefer single match will do since this is a league style
3) separate into more groups. better. easier to control and finish the season

1) all maps for 1v1.trains map-adaptability among all players
2) BO2... kinda like home & away... so the score can be 0-2|1-1|2-0
3) smaller league.if 30ppl,make it 3 league etc etc
