Rules:
1) The league will only be competed in SEA server.

2) You can use any race at any game but have to make sure your opponent knows this. Don't suddenly change race 3 seconds before the game countdown starts.

3) You can choose any map from the ladder matches. 1st game, player 1 will choose and 2nd game, player 2 will choose. The default map for 3rd game is Lost Temple, but you guys can use other maps if both of you agreed on this.

4) 1 Match = Best of 3 games. If you lose 2 games in a row with the same opponent, you have to complete the 3rd game for standings calculation purposes. If you don't wanna complete the 3rd game, you have to declare that to your opponent and he will get free 3-0 win.

5) Standings are based on priorities below:
a) Most match wins
b) Most game wins difference (Total games win - total games lost)
c) Most game wins
d) Head to head match results

6) Schedule will be released and minimum 3 matches (3 Matches = 9 games) have to be completed per week. If you are busy for that week, you have to inform me and your opponent. If the person is MIA for 7 days in a row and his opponent is available at that period, the opponent will get free 3-0 win.

7) If your opponent is unavailable at that day or week, you can skip that match and proceed with the next opponent based on the schedule.

8) At any time of the game, you have to type 'LYN' at the message box and after complete, save the game for future reference*. Format: bnet nickname 1 vs bnet nickname 2. game1. Example: IDra.vs.Fox.game1.

*At first I was thinking of sending the replay to me, but I think it's not fair as I'm also playing in the league . You guys just save it for future reference or complaints.

Must have the 3rd match? I cannot understand why? U can just skip the 3rd match by make sure each player got the max 2 point is good enough

It's for standing purposes. If on the standings, 2 players have the same match win, game wins difference will be used.

If Player A wins 3-0, his game wins difference is 3
If Player B wins just 2-1, his game wins difference is only 1.
So, Player A will have higher ranking than Player B because of GWD.

And i suggest a default map for game 1 each week. Loser will choose the map for game 2 base on the choice of 5 maps listed. And off course the 3rd match also choose by the loser.

This is what other tournament normally do as some maps are pretty unfair for certain race.

Having listed the limited map let player practice on it.

Let me tell you the biggest secret of winning, its "not giving up even you're in a losing streak"

organizer, i think we should add 1 more rule for the LYN thing.

both players should pause game at 1st second, both type LYN league match game 1/2/3. then only resume. only games where both players type the following sentences are considered official match.

this will prevent possible scams......lets say player A and player B played b4 last time then show organizer the other replay....and hence false result.

can players thumbs down maps? and are kulas ravine and desert oasis included in map pool?


theres alot of possibilities for map arrangement.

default map 1 every week, game 2 winner down 2 maps loser choose map, game 3 winner down 2 maps loser choose map. down-ed maps in game 2 cant be chose in game 3.

among 9 blizzard official map (no KL,DO) 1 player down 4 maps 1 player down 2 maps, so 3 left. the one who down 2 maps decides map sequence.

anyhow, lost temple as 3rd map = instashit for zvt

lol, for someone with relatively heavy real life burden, 9 serious match is too much. i wont prepare those leagues at all, just take as 9 games of starcraft per week, that sounds viable to my mom and education XD

anyway, for the replays, i don't make it compulsory for people to send it to me as I'm also playing, hence I don't think it's fair if I can see all of you guys' replays. We do this based on good sportsmanship. After the match, you guys can either declare the game results here or pm me. But you guys should keep the replays for future reference in case there's an objection or false results on game reports.

There are suggestion to put a default map for game 1, and losers of game 1 will choose the map for game 2 and so on which I will take into consideration.

About the maps. There are suggestion to shortlist only 5 maps. But if list only 5 maps, it will not be fair for a person who already has his own preferences of map other than that 5 maps. So, I will take this into consideration.

I wanna make this rule as simple as possible because there will be so many matches.

N'mind, if you can't finish the 9 games per week because of bz-ness, you can continue it another week. If too many person can't finish the games, I will delay the next match week.

can those matches be joined by spectators?
if so,would it be better if the spectators would be in-charge of saving the replays instead of the players? i see several tourney games do something similar AFAIK...no need to pause the game & introduce each other at the start of the game. would probably throw off the eagerness of those players eh?

and of course, players can save the replays too (for their personal reference)...but the once released here would be from spectators' replay...so,any players not doing any gaming can be volunteer spectators...

btw,this friendly league is turning up into something quite nice
