Im in. I can help to organize too. try to make a loose schedule, give a dead line for players to finish their league games. maybe 4 opponents in 2 weeks, and give them the 2nd set of opponents after 2 weeks.

GSL is not league mode....its knock out...

if its BO3, its harder to cheese successful for more than 1 times...

i will throw down a manner mule if i won cheese XD

errr....lets make season 1 a short one, then we can make into 2-3 leagues according to skill level in season 2. smtg like EPL, champions and A,B....

we can still make it league style. by compulsory players to finish their schedule by themselves in given time. if not walk over. just submit replay to organizer before deadline. winner is responsible to send the replay.

organizer, i think we should add 1 more rule for the LYN thing.

both players should pause game at 1st second, both type LYN league match game 1/2/3. then only resume. only games where both players type the following sentences are considered official match.

this will prevent possible scams......lets say player A and player B played b4 last time then show organizer the other replay....and hence false result.

can players thumbs down maps? and are kulas ravine and desert oasis included in map pool?


theres alot of possibilities for map arrangement.

default map 1 every week, game 2 winner down 2 maps loser choose map, game 3 winner down 2 maps loser choose map. down-ed maps in game 2 cant be chose in game 3.

among 9 blizzard official map (no KL,DO) 1 player down 4 maps 1 player down 2 maps, so 3 left. the one who down 2 maps decides map sequence.

anyhow, lost temple as 3rd map = instashit for zvt

lol, for someone with relatively heavy real life burden, 9 serious match is too much. i wont prepare those leagues at all, just take as 9 games of starcraft per week, that sounds viable to my mom and education XD

i hope organizer's consideration is base on ending the league as soon as possible. cuz with 30 opponents, even 1 game each opponent its 30 games ZOMG to finish a league....if bo2 then its 60 games, anyhow i dun think we can finish it in 2 months......but anything over 3 months will be too boring and heavy for most of us. best is 1 month + abit....reduce the rounds.


or another option is randomly split us into 2 diff leagues. then season 1 will end in 4 weeks (15 opponents in 4 weeks sounds ok...) then season 2 we seed into league A and league B according to points....just try to make season 1 as short as possible, 1 month ish...so that ppl will be interested.

a good benchmark to start off with, then play 10-10-10 players, each play 10 games with BO2 then season 1 will end and we can start to seed leagues according to LYN league record from then on.


cuz whats the point of a competition without using its own benchmark. for 1st season of course too bad la, we follow general benchmark dulu den afterthat we just use our own results to seed.

lol.........u gotta patch your rule every now and then? den we will be complaining racial imbalance throughout the patches and ask for moarrrr patch!!!!!

errr....if anyone can recommend me good replays to cast and not 45 minutes long, i might try it...sounds fun.

just realized, my comp spec not good enuf to give you all optimal viewing satisfactory as i use lowest setting oso XD
