Hmm guys I found some bokeh shots with 50mm 1.8 and some actually can get round bokeh..
like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/ying4893/4215619873/

not actually perfectly round but is better than what I thought. How do you guys think?
*
If wide open still no round bokeh then something is wrong tongue.gif. The 85mm f/1.8 also got polygon shape after step down to 2.8 or so.

How's ur 50mm wide open vs ur 70mm 's bokeh?? can fight?? not sharpness(coz can't fight at all), juz bokeh.... haha

Sharpness for Sigma @ F/1.4 is not bad, i show u here, of course cannot compared to the sharpness of vr2 wide open... The sigma stopped down to F/2 is razor sharp already sweat.gif

Thanx for the compliment, I actually like the pics without flash, cos it's like what you see when u are at the hall, natural lighting from the spotlights, won't kill the background also laugh.gif
