Anyone experience data loss because of no journaling file system? Seems like it is more safely to enable journaling on ext4....

No data loss that I can notice so far. Actually I don't really understand why so many people are worried about non-journaling filesystem (e.g. ext2 and ext4nj) on their phones. Nobody seems to be concerned about thumb drives formatted with FAT32 instead of NTFS and the last time I checked, FAT32 has no journaling too.

I think when you made changes, don't simply pull out battery or shut down/restart. Wait for awhile, maybe 15 minutes. Then only shut down restart. That way Is to ensure the date changes is written on the hard memory. Am I right?

That's what I suspect.

YES, for non-journalling just wait if it hangs or press power button long enuf. Don't let the phone ran out of power

Because storage and memory management is different. I got some data loss, but it's very minor. Like some widgets didn't appear when I didn't shut the phone off properly.
