i removed touchwiz and mini diary.. what else..i think we can make a list..

still blur what to do to to change to speed mod coz im still on voodoo..
my question is..

did i need to remove voodoo completely before apply speedmod kernel? or just disable it by create a folder name "DISABLE LAGFIX" inside it?

im planning to apply speedmod kernel via ODIN..

anyone here can teach me how to tweak using SpeedMod k10c?

Yup, if you only access gmail you can remove it. The best thing about Samsung Email is it can communicate with all email service including Yahoo and Hotmail. But you definitely need lagfix if u wanted to use it coz it is damn slow.

YES
1. create "disable lagfix" file or folder in /sdcard/voodoo
2. reboot the phone, once voodoo is removed there's audio confirmation
3. link phone to ODIN, flash speedmod into it
4. phone boots, go to market and download ROM Manager
5. in case you do not have root, get z4root and root your phone
6. launch rom manager, flash clockworkmod recovery
7. reboot to clockwordmod (MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE a /sdcard/update.zip)
8. form CWM menu, go advanced, go ULK tweaks, and apply tweaks 1 to 4.. can leave out CIFS. BLN is light notification using the touch buttons (thanks mengsuan for tip)

I have the same thought too. Not reli satisfy wt voodoo rc1. For me, i feel that my bat life abit worst after applying voodoo 5. Is there any logic behind this,or just my feel?any 1 feel such way?
After applying lagfix, my Wifi sometimes have to manually detect n choose.(switching edge n Wifi if Wifi is around). Any1 have such prob? Is it due to lagfix? Hmmm

U applied lagfix voodoo 5. And now i got clclockworkmod recovery dy..means its comes together?

I don find any way to get into the recovery mode.. Except use 3 button recovery. If i install the apk u indicated,i should be able to click on the app right? Now there is none.

Phew. Got the phone working again. Booted into download mode and flashed firmware in 1st page. Proceeded to upgrade to Doc 9.01 without screwing up this time.

ya, Voodoo 5 comes together with clockworkmod. The instructions I gave you is not an apk. It's to be applied from 3 button recovery to install clockworkmod. Now that you have Clockworkmod recovery, no issue anymore right??

P/S: u can also refer to Jason's post above to get Clockworkmod via Rom manager, but I didn't use that

yes u can, take note of what you're removing though

try Insanity ROM.. he already removes most unwated apps... from there, add your prefered ones..
