Depends. I borrow the PS3 I am using since I don't see myself playing other games on the PS3 (PC is a better gaming tool IMO) so PS3 for one game is just not worth it. Also your steering wheel is an investment that I suggest you only buy if you know that you will be using it for a long time, or you are a racing game freak. I've seen people buy steering wheel just for the sake of one game, got frustrated, and sell it off for a loss. A steering wheel do give you better control, but it takes time for you to find that sweet spot, how to control the throttle, brakes, etc. If you want to game for fun, it can lead to frustration as you might wonder why you are going slower with a wheel.

The level card is random I think. I got Merc. I have complete all except Extreme & didn't get any Viper.
