he's racing on the pro series at the ferrari lvl 14 6 lap race.
i bought him an ENZO to race!!, he was like leading after first few corners, so i felt confident he will win, so i went off to do my own stuff.
after i came back down i saw he got 2nd place, i watch the replay, during the last straight b4 the winner corner. he somehow jst slow down so much and let the ferrari overtake n win

just bought PS GT5 edition after long wait..upgraded from my PS2..well I not an active gamer due to my work load...was playing WoW for 2 years and idle

So I bought ps3 + Gt5 and Cod::black ops

I live in Kota Warisan and no Unify and Streamyx also not yet installed...played PS3 using Celcom BB with Black Ops...and the lag quite ok...but yet to try with gt5

So just some questions

is the logitech Rm470 steering wheel worth the buy or should buy the H gear layout with clutch , RM999 ?

DGT vs G27? G27 has better pedals, and has quiter FFB. But it's also heavier. If you are not using it for other games, DGT might be the better choice.

Once they overtake, even if you told them to maintain pace, they will only maintain it for a little while then either they drop the pace or the opponents increased their pace

I got what you experienced yesterday, out of the blue got overtaken last 2 laps (luckily it is the last 2 laps because I still can overtake). So yeah normally the AI will catch up close to the dying laps like a real race. Good luck

PS: I used Veyron with 1186BHP/1.4 tonne, was leading and last 2 laps got overtaken by a Pagani Zonda out of the blue then I overtook it again by telling my driver to overtake back/up the pace. That is the difference

They wanted to mirror real life where drivers take it easy in some phases of a race. But in real life there difference delta times between pushing and taking it easy, aka fuel saving mode is not this high. In real life it is usually only around 2~3s as going too slow will result in loss in concentration. In GT5 it can go as low as 10s!

That is the problem.....once the player relax then GG especially when his meter is all out to the left side (cool)
If he is guaranteed the race win no problems, but if against cars that has the potential to beat him, then you have to watch out at the dying moments of the race (tell them to up the pace)
