My dad's close friend also has a monster 1/1 collection. So while waiting for my new additions to arrive, I shall spam some pics of his collection. Lol

can anyone, who has the bbr 458, tell me if the model can be removed from the leather base? Because I don't see any screws underneath it and I tried to pull it out but it's really tight. Lol. hmm.gif

chan: that lancer looks super nice! More pics!! I'm not surprised that the Camry has those features. These chinese company models usually are very good. The only one I have is the CTS-V and that is a fabulous model considering it has amazing opening features and yet cost less than a Kyo R8 Spyder.

jchue: Haha. I was thinking about doing that...but then I'll probably feel embarrass bring my "toy" car visit his real car. Lol...tho he does collect diecast as well.

Bryant: nola. he's the 2nd. the first was in KK(a white 458, I think) tho his 458 got delayed 1 month because of the recall. But then he's the first to get the SV. Sadly, when i went to his house, he already sold the DB9.

regarding the pics...sorry la didn't take many and also...don't wanna spam 1/1 pics on diecast thread! but i got a few la since you ask for it! lol.

jchue: yea. I don't dare to "open" the velvet. scared I can't stick it back!! and yes, that's my dad...depends on what industry you're in. Lol. If you're in his industry then...it's quite possible you might have seen him before. lolz.

Nice!

Well...the only difference is the styling lo, I suppose. Lol. Don't worry. No quality difference. Some people like the look of the Lorinser kit, some like the Brabus kit.

yea. 458 has 2 option for the rims. one is the one on JP's car and the other is the one they use on the scuderia 16m as well. Lol.

Bryant: that's some old Mazda. I remember seeing it in his like 10 years ago. He still kept it until now. It's gullwing.

loving you: bro relax! don't let it disheartened you. This model is quite tricky because you didn't fold the roof properly. Even I have trouble folding it properly. So I usually just fold the roof back into the boot.

I don't think it will spoil tho. I use to rip those things on my Maisto base and...its fine. So I think it should be fine?

The white and blue version is the best colour, imo!

not confirm but most probably would be the same price as the reventon. But then you got time to save because most probably coming out Q3 only.

Not sure about the figurines but the accs. Can get from Snap-On or the car lift can get from GMP. Quite pricey tho.

Bro, like everything, nothing is perfect in this world. Even if you buy a RM2million supercar, might have electronic problem. Lol.

I'm sure everyone will tell u that they have problems with different brand and cars. Like yours, my AA Reventon and LP560's hood and engine cover wont stay up. but my Hotwheels Ferrari isn't flawless as well. So are my Kyosho BMW's. Even my BBR F430's engine cover won't stay up!

haha. it's always best to inspect the models first la but since it's impossible here as im sure most of us buy online, so all I can really hope for is that it comes in 1 piece and paintjob is perfect. Other little faults, i try to just...close one eye la. Lol.

holoman: sure! Bburago/Maisto is a great place to start. Great choices and also affordable price. but then do let us know what model ur interested in because....not all of their models are great. Some are quite terrible i.e M5, new Merc SLs, E-class but then their SLR, CLS, Gallardo's, Murcielago's, and Porsche's are generally very good.

Well technically, price should be around 900 so tax probably around 90 but if the seller do some "paperwork" then...0 tax lo. Lol.

sauron: Nice! Which colour you got? White or red? I'm thinking of getting one as well. Lol. What do you think of the model?

kent: both are actually very good. both have their own pros and cons i.e 458 with oversized rims and ugly exhaust while the Scud is not as heavy but the interior is stunning. I would definitely get the Scud first tho since it's not easy to find one nowadays.
