The price is around RM2,900 only with kit lens. Very good and affordable camera I must say.

i think i goin for 550d...no regret..wakaka

D3000 i think is around RM2000 also, 1000D i not quite sure the price but shld be below RM2000.

Can try 60D or 550D with extra glass. D7000 if you can top up to 4.5k

If you don't mind sony A580 which is technically newer than all those stated, then Canon should be best bet.
D3000 is below 2k. 1000D around 1.6k can find already.

may i know how much is Sony A580?

2.6k with kit, maybe a bit more now.
