(like buying only once in a lifetime.. no la.. maybe when i start working (after graduate) then i can afford another one myself la.. Problem now is my parents are buying a dslr for me and i don't really want to make a wrong choice.....i'm form 4 now currently)

For the amount of features at that kind of price, no other brands has a similiar offer though.

i see! i checked through a few HD clips (taken with the camera) in youtube and found out that the quality is actually good (mp4,AVI) and the AF mode is nice too.. drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif maybe i should really put my money in for this camera....!!!!!!!!! sweat.gif

oh..go with a better, but mid range dslr like the nikon 5100D. I think that's ok

In what way the midrange dslr is better than the A35?

Plus, D5100 is an entry level dslr, not a midrange.. Midrange is likely like D90/D7k.

Hi all experts out there....is it worth to buy a used NIKON D5000 (with 18-55mm lens) for RM1350? Shutter Count abt 21K alr... Pls ..need advice..TQ ;-)

Add about 600 more, you can get D3100 new

Or maybe a Sony A33 which is going around for 1,8k now. Waffor buy old, if you can get new at slightly more?

21k shutter count is not little, too.

Thanks chiahau for the advice...but isn't D5000 is better than D3100? Btw, is there any guide on the shelf life of a used camera just by looking at the shutter count? I mean, would it be like if SC more than certain numbers that the camera will need to go for service/repair? Just a beginner here, really need some advice..thank alot in advance

i did some research,Powershot A2200 can do 720p video...but i still not sure is this the best budget camera i can get with that budget?...opinion anyone?..thanks wave.gif
