Budget: 6-7k
Your Location: klÂ
Preferable brand : canon
Type of photography u want to do : wedding
Any specific models in mind? : 60d
Any specific features u want? : dunno yet
i'm following my fren to take wedding picture, trying to make some money. can u recommend a good camera and lens for that? thanks in advance
So are you familiar with wedding photography if not normal photography ?
Because even a 1Ds mk3 with all the L lens in the world wouldn't help you if you do not have the experience/skills.
Even if you're having that friend to teach you... you should at least have a reasonable amount of experience before taking wedding pictures.
But If I have to recommend something for around 7k,
It'll be a 60D along with a fast prime (Canon/Sigma 50mm f/1.4, Sigma 30mm f/1.4), fast tele prime(Canon 85mm f/1.8), Fast normal zoom(Tamron 17-50 f/2.8) and a good flash(580EXII or a Nissin Di622 II at the very least).
Oh, and lotsa photography classes

Hi hope someone will reply. I don't have a big budget so I have to settle for a 2nd hand dslr camera. Can someone recommend me a good dslr camera brand that can easily be found in garage sale. Budget rm500...
Probably an old Canon 350D with the really old 18-55 Non-IS kit lens.
However your image quality will suffer and most advance compacts will probably trump it in image quality.

Canon EOS 5D MkII / Nikon D700Actually I still hoping that Nikon or Canon will release a new model for full frame DLSR. Anyway, I'm also looking for a good kit lens for Landscape photography. Any suggestion guys?
Canon 16-35 f/2.8 II USM L is a pretty good lens for landscape photography if you want something wide and fun(a bit of distortion at it's widest angle).
The Canon 24-105 f/4 IS USM L is another good kit lens for landscape photography.
On Nikon side, the 14-24mm f/2.8 is the widest fast rectilinear zoom lens which can be helpful for landscape photography.
