Type of photography u want to do : wedding
Any specific models in mind? : 60d
Any specific features u want? : dunno yet
i'm following my fren to take wedding picture, trying to make some money. can u recommend a good camera and lens for that? thanks in advance

Because even a 1Ds mk3 with all the L lens in the world wouldn't help you if you do not have the experience/skills.
Even if you're having that friend to teach you... you should at least have a reasonable amount of experience before taking wedding pictures.
But If I have to recommend something for around 7k,
It'll be a 60D along with a fast prime (Canon/Sigma 50mm f/1.4, Sigma 30mm f/1.4), fast tele prime(Canon 85mm f/1.8), Fast normal zoom(Tamron 17-50 f/2.8) and a good flash(580EXII or a Nissin Di622 II at the very least).
Oh, and lotsa photography classes
thanks for your advice. i am currently taking photography lesson from my fren, have been using his second dslr for months, now I'm thinking of doing this seriously. Anyway, thanks again for your advice. |
