Base on the experience on teenfest last time, the banshee sound quality quite good but have big problem with noise canceling(though it does not have the feature with it...). The surrounding sound/noise can still be heard quite loudly and clearly. wink.gif

However, i cant deny that it is real comfort to wearing it on your head. thumbup.gif

That is not noise cancelling, noise cancelling is actually a kind of technology then built in certain headphone.

What you means should be the isolation ability of the headset ear cup pad which isolate the noise and prevent the sound leakage.

haha nope, but try it 99 during the DL expo.
Anyway, there is quite noisy not really can confirm the sound quality.
But overall is good enough and comfortable.

For sound I not sure, but it impressed me as a head to head headset with Roccat kave but with softer ear pad compared to Kave.
However compare the spec, Kave should be better.

thanks for the input bro..
so, comparing Kave with the Banshee; Kave trumps in what area?

So see who can stand for the weight then i will say Kave really a good gaming headset. Can see the metal support in the band, it is quite thick thats why it is so heavy.

Another complaint is the earpad is quite hard and gathering heat compare to other headset. (just my 2 cent)

Possible?? MX blue is the mechanical switches that similar to rubberdome with all the click. Should be fast to get use to it.
Some more BW profile no tall, i consider medium height, even thought lycosa is slim 1 but I think should be fine.
If you cant get use to BW then i think you may take super long time to get used to MX black switches like 7G.

Are you sure? Based on what i know, most of the membrane keyboard having a actuation force about 80 to 110.

Then from my experience of using lycosa, it will be hard to press if you not apply the force exactly vertically downward (the click not smooth)

i can only take a guess that u are bottoming out the keys.
once u get used to it and realise u dont need to bottom out the keys, unlike the lycosa etc, then should be able to type faster.

got a bw ultimate yesterday, gotta say that typing on it is very pleasant once u get used to it, im loving it alot now

just the volume control is pretty stupid, i have to use 2 hands to control the volume as my hands arent big enough to reach both the fn + f2/3 keys

Actually I expected the ultimate to come with the media control like lycosa but sadly it isn't. How great it is if there's a media panel on the ultimate like lycosa. Much more convinient for gaming user.

Ya that is quite trouble some. But it is necessary for razer to do so to make it possible to do the macro recording and change to gaming mode by using to the F10 and F11.

So compare with SS 7G and 6Gv2 the Steelseries key replace left window key i think is more convenient.

Not really, I think the multimedia control touch panel is more to gimmick. The touch panel isn't sensitive enough and accurate.
Maybe can add some extra button like microsoft X6 and the adjusting knob then is superb.
