Championship striker isn't appropriate term to us, since we dropped to that fizzy league for just 1 season only.

if you want say to perch or routledge it makes more sense biggrin.gif

anyway, i think we have give so much chance to ranger but he still cant find his finishing touch. Maybe Pardew can start using another options ( u know what i mean tongue.gif ) and loan rangers to other team.

Tino Asprilla was at the match last night..he took the crossbar challenge and only needed 2 attempts to hit the target..pure class..would love to have him on the pitch to finish off Spurs yesterday..

Tino was giving no less than 5 CD's to Peter Beardsley during half time..potential new players from South America perhaps? brows.gif

BTW..where is Kueks? Long time not come in? He needs to change thread title..already basi la.. tongue.gif

how u know so much in detail ? u got insider at nufc ? brows.gif

lol at the slip ...

about barton, if that's true then it's really a good news and prove that he really want to play for newcastle and not for the money.

The Editor: More twists in the Andy Carroll saga. Newcastle have accepted a transfer request from the striker - in spite of Liverpool's two rejected bids.

so i think carroll is going to be Newcastle's public enemy and will be treated as "traitor" tongue.gif

As we couldn't get replacement for carroll, i'm just hoping we still can bang in some goals and finish somewhere in mid table at the end of season. Euro qualification? too early for us i think.

For anyone who is saying Carroll really wanted to stay, consider what NUFC.com have concluded. The following piece is very logical and do-able for Carroll:
He could have rejected the personal terms worth Liverpool if he wanted to stay, there wouldnt have been enough time for him and Liverpool to renegotiate..
*
yup, he can always reject the deal himself ... i'm sure he will get the jeers from 52,000 crowds when he come back to St James Park wearing red shirt.

yeah u probably right..still, the blame falls on Ashley and also Carroll..fair enough?

Business wise though, we made a 35million profit on a player who cost us nothing..an offer just too good to turn down..
*
hehe, we able to offload Xisco (on loan) and made 35m from carroll sales! great piece of news in term of business eh..

we need to look for replacement in the summer, unless our current striker (Ameobi, Best, Loven and Ranger) improves tremendously, which i don't think will happen lol. at the moment, just hang-on for the rest of the season and don't relegate again !!!!

as hi-lited earlier by someone , we are actually unbeaten in 4 w/o carroll , 2 of which we should 've won!
*
u mean me right? the 2 games which we should have won, i guess we already won it if we had carroll in there ... we missed a number of goal scoring opportunities there

but i hope our current crop of players will bucks up and play their best !
