Haha, yesterday I was reading some comments and someone said you should always compare density by no. of units per land area... So for comparison...
Did you know KL Eco City is sitting on only 25 acres of land... now that is even worse density than Parklane. So Parklane is pretty good and furthermore it is freehold. LOL.
It comes very close, in terms of residential population density. The first block, Vogue Suites 1, has 708 residential suites. They have yet to launch Suites 2 and 3, and also the Setia Hotel and Residences. Assuming its the same, 708 x 4 = 2,800 units, over a 25 acre piece of land. And we have yet to take into consideration the office blocks. Then again, the area has much better access compared to Parklane OUG, which seems very hectic since there is only 1 main access road (Jalan Puchong) with the back road to the PPR as a supporting road.
Taman Melati Utama also has very high density, with the Platinum Victory development there. Lots of people only know of a few projects, and immediately jump to conclusion that the projects that they know off is the highest density ever. Thus, the heavy backlash that Parklane OUG is receiving in its thread.
