Just go for light and easy to fold type.

Some are build like a tank. Although looks good but it is not easy to transport around. It is hassle to carry heavy stroller up and down the car boot, take simple trip by plane or to negotiate staircase in shopping mall. Not all area of shopping mall are easy access by elevator.

Kids grow up fast.

Wana ask.. is 3 wheels better than 4 wheels?
Seems 3 wheel when fold are much bigger than 4 wheel after fold..

Some might find its easier to steer a 3 wheeler, but I prefer 4 wheels as its easier to go up and down the escalator, anyway, it is not recommended to use a stroller at the escalator. On uneven or bumpy floor surface, its better with 4 wheels. Thats y 3 wheeler usually comes with big wheel, to reduce tripping and falling on uneven surface.

Highly recommend use a lightweight type of stroller..usually the expensive ones (Stokke/Quinny etc) are quit heavy.

Got the Quinny Buzz Xtra with the Maxi-Cosi bassinet add on in anticipation of my baby being born soon.

The pros:
* My wife likes it tongue.gif
* Very high quality, solidly built and looks nice
* Very manuveurable.
* The huge wheels can take the occasional tar/uneven road surfaces better than small wheels, newer model does away with the need to pump air into the wheels
* Can push the baby while jogging on smooth surfaces. Hardcore joggers should look at the Thule Urban Glide.
* Can fit a Bassinet , infant car seat and baby stroller seat, its interchangeable
* All 3 above can either be forward or rear facing

Cons:
* Price, not cheap
* wheels are wide apart, might be a problem pushing thru some entrance/exits
* its huge even when folded. Will not fit in most hatchbacks boots

Thats off the top of my head when i was researching on strollers, anyone using and any comments or add ons?

Not expert but i think shud remind those that plan to jog with stroller to make sure that baby's neck and head are strong enough, i think a year and older and that the stroller has adequate absorption and cushioning. Best is smooth surfaces.

Bought a nice stroller cost rm400-500 which can allow flat, and slant and sitting position. In the end, its a useless stroller because my wife don't use it because its heavy. In the end got less than rm100 stroller which are very light weight and my wife use it often.

That's true. But a heavier stroller can be safer as the tendency to flip is lower. I've seen maids hanging their shopping on the handles only to have it overturn, baby and all.

As far as I know, most people have more than one stroller. We have five. Different strollers serve different purposes and I don't think there is one stroller that can fit all your needs.

Here're our strollers:

1. Generic brand umbrella stroller: Most basic and lightest stroller. Cannot be reclined. We use it only for short distance walk or when too lazy too carry other heavier strollers. I don't think my little one sit comfortably inside.

2. Summer Infant 3D lite convenience stroller: This stroller can be reclined, which is important when you are going out long. Much more comfortable than the previous one, and still consider light with only around 12lbs. It has five point safety harness feature. We like to use this one for long travel because it is light and can be fully collapsed.

3. Britax b-agile: This comes with the travel system, which we used when our little ones were not ready to sit upright. It is about 17lbs if I remember correctly. It cannot be fully collapsed like the previous one, but my little ones could sit very comfortably inside.

4. BOB Flex jogging stroller: We use it when going out jogging. It provides good stability in bumpy roads or rough terrain and easy to maneuver. However it is heavy and therefore not easy to handle for my wife.

5. Britax b-agile double stroller: We bought this when we had the second child. It is a must for parents with two children around the same age.
